The River Lea ( LEE) is in South East England. It originates in Bedfordshire, in the Chiltern Hills, and flows southeast through Hertfordshire, along the Essex border and into Greater London, to meet the River Thames at Bow Creek. It is one of the largest rivers in London and the easternmost major tributary of the Thames.

Der River Lea oder River Lee (beide englische Bezeichnungen sind in Gebrauch) ist ein Fluss in England. Er entspringt in der Nähe von Luton in den Chiltern Hills und fließt dann zunächst ostwärts. Östlich von Hertford ändert der Flusslauf seine Richtung und fließt weiter südwärts in Richtung London, wo er in die Themse mündet. Der Mündungsabschnitt, ein etwa vier Kilometer langes, tidenabhängiges Ästuar, wird auch Bow Creek genannt.
