The station consists of 6 generating units with an eventual nameplate capacity of 800 MW each bringing the total installed capacity of 4,800 MW; as of 2023, only 5 units are in operation.

Die Kusile-kragsentrale (voorheen bekend as die Bravo-kragsentrale) is 'n kragsentrale 15 km noord van die Kendal-kragsentrale naby Witbank in Mpumalanga, Suid-Afrika. Die kragsentrale is steenkool-aangedrewe en word deur Eskom bedryf. Wanneer die stasie voltooi is, sal dit na verwagting uit ses 800 megawatt eenhede bestaan met 'n totale kapasiteit van 4 800 megawatt.
