La cueva de El Mirón[1][2]​ es una cavidad situada en el municipio de Ramales de la Victoria, comunidad autónoma de Cantabria (España), que contiene un importante yacimiento arqueológico y paleoantropológico, además de representaciones de arte parietal, del Paleolítico Superior. Es de gran importancia por recoger de forma ininterrumpida restos entre la actualidad y el Musteriense. Se encuentra dentro de la zona arqueológica de Ramales, declarada Bien de Interés Cultural desde 2006. Fue descubierta en 1903.

The El Mirón Cave is a large cave in the upper Asón River valley towards the eastern end of Cantabria in northern Spain, near the border of the Basque country. It is an archeological site in Ramales de la Victoria. It is known for a skeleton belonging to a woman nicknamed The Red Lady of El Mirón. She is estimated to have died around 18,700 years ago, during the Upper Paleolithic (Magdalenian). The skeleton is estimated to be that of a woman between 35 and 40 years. Her bones were coated with ochre, a red iron-based pigment, hence, her name.

Die Cueva de El Mirón (auch: la Cueva del Mirón; Spanisch für ‚Höhle von El Mirón‘) ist eine rund 120 Meter tiefe archäologische und paläoanthropologische Fundstätte im Osten der spanischen autonomen Gemeinschaft Kantabrien, rund einen Kilometer entfernt von der Grenze zur Provinz Bizkaia. Die Höhle liegt 260 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel auf dem Gebiet der Marktgemeinde Ramales de la Victoria, oberhalb des Flusses Gándara im Kantabrischen Gebirge. Die Höhle wurde aus karstigem Kalkstein der Unterkreide ausgewaschen. Ihr Eingang ist rund 13 Meter hoch und bis zu 16 Meter breit und daher vom Tal des Gándara weithin zu erkennen. Die Umgebung des Höhleneingangs ist ein beliebtes Gebiet zum Klettern mit diversen Kletterrouten.
