Klima-Allianz Deutschland (Q1774359)

Die Klima-Allianz Deutschland ist ein Bündnis zivilgesellschaftlicher Organisationen für den Klimaschutz in Deutschland. Mit ihren rund 150 Mitgliedsorganisationen (Stand: August 2023) aus den Bereichen Umwelt, Entwicklung, Kirche, Bildung, Kultur, Jugend, Verbraucherschutz, Gesundheit, Sozialverbände und Gewerkschaften setzt sie sich für eine ambitionierte Klimapolitik und eine Energiewende auf lokaler, nationaler, europäischer und internationaler Ebene ein. Zu den Mitgliedsorganisationen zählen unter anderem der WWF, der BUND, Misereor, Brot für die Welt, der Deutsche Paritätische Wohlfahrtsverband, mehrere Landeskirchen und ver.di. Die Klima-Allianz Deutschland wurde am 24. April 2007 gegründet, seit Oktober 2013 ist sie Mitglied im Climate Action Network Europe.

Climate-Alliance Germany (German: Klima-Allianz Deutschland) is a network of about 150 civil society organizations, including environment groups, development groups, churches, organisations from the fields of youth, education, culture, social welfare and health, as well as trade unions, and consumer associations. Founded in 2007, the aim of the Alliance is to provide a common front to apply pressure to German decision-makers to adopt socially just climate action measures. Prominent members include WWF, BUND (or Friends of the Earth Germany), and the trade union ver.di.
