De Federale Overheidsdienst Werkgelegenheid, Arbeid en Sociaal Overleg (FOD WASO) is een van de negen federale overheidsdiensten van België. De FOD is verantwoordelijk voor al het overleg over sociale zaken, maar niet voor de sociale zekerheid. De FOD waarborgt, in een sociaal gecontroleerde markteconomie, het evenwicht tussen werknemers en werkgevers in hun arbeidsverhouding. De FOD zorgt voor de bescherming en de bevordering van het welzijn op het werk en werkt actief mee aan de ontwikkeling van de sociale wetgeving, zowel nationaal als internationaal.

Le SPF Emploi, travail et concertation sociale (SPF ETCS) est un service public fédéral belge dont la tâche clé est d'assurer les équilibres entre travailleurs et employeurs dans leur relation de travail. Il assure la protection et la promotion du bien-être au travail et participe au développement de la législation sociale tant sur le plan national qu'international.

The FPS Employment, Labour and Social Dialogue (Dutch: FOD Werkgelegenheid, Arbeid en Sociaal Overleg, French: SPF Emploi, Travail et Concertation sociale, German: FÖD Beschäftigung, Arbeit und Soziale Konzertierung), more commonly referred to as the FPS Employment or the FPS Labour, is a Federal Public Service of Belgium. It was created by Royal Order on February 3, 2002, as part of the plans of the Verhofstadt I Government to modernise the federal administration. It is responsible for managing labour relations, ensuring the protection and promotion of occupational well-being, and participating in the development of social legislation.
