A Região do Norte é uma região ou unidade territorial para fins estatísticos de nível II (NUTS II), de Portugal, que compreende os (extintos) distritos de Viana do Castelo, Braga, Porto, Vila Real e Bragança, e o norte dos distritos de Aveiro e Guarda. É limitada a norte e a este com Espanha (comunidade da Galiza e de Castela e Leão, nomeadamente), a sul com a Região do Centro (Região das Beiras) e a oeste com o Oceano Atlântico.

Norte (Portuguese: Região do Norte, IPA: [ʁɨʒiˈɐ̃w̃ ˈnɔɾtɨ]; "North Region") or Northern Portugal is the most populous region in Portugal, ahead of Lisboa, and the third most extensive by area. The region has 3,689,173 inhabitants according to the 2011 census, and its area is 21,278 km² (density of 173 inhabitants per square kilometre). It is one of five regions of Mainland Portugal (NUTS II subdivisions). Its main population center is the urban area of Porto, with about one million inhabitants; it includes a larger political metropolitan region with 1.8 million, and an urban-metropolitan agglomeration with 2.99 million inhabitants, including Porto and a number of urban areas in Northwestern Portugal, ranging from Braga to Aveiro. The Commission of Regional Coordination of the North (CCDR-N) is the agency that coordinates environmental policies, land-use planning, cities and the overall development of this region, supporting local governments and associations.

La Región Norte (en portugués, Região Norte) es una región estadística portuguesa, que comprende el Distrito de Viana do Castelo, el Distrito de Braga, el Distrito de Oporto, el Distrito de Vila Real, el Distrito de Braganza y parte de los distritos de Aveiro, Viseu y Guarda. Limita al norte y al este con España, al sur con la Región Centro y a oeste con el Océano Atlántico. Área: 21 285 km² (un 23,9% del Portugal Continental). Población (2011): 3 689 682 (un 37,6% del Portugal Continental). En la actualidad es la región estadística de Portugal más poblada.

Região Norte is een Portugese Nuts II-regio, die bestaat uit de districten Braga, Bragança, Porto, Viana do Castelo en Vila Real en delen van de districten Aveiro, Viseu en Guarda. Norte grenst in het zuiden aan Região Centro, in het noorden en oosten aan Spanje en in het westen aan de Atlantische Oceaan.
