Korogwe District also known as Korogwe District Council is one of the eleven districts of Tanga Region in Tanzania. The District covers an area of 6,534 km2 (2,523 sq mi). It is bordered to the northeast by the Lushoto District and north by Bumbuli District. Korogwe District also bordered to the east by the Mkinga District and the Muheza District, to the South by the Handeni Rural District and the Korogwe Urban District, and to the West by the Kilimanjaro Region. The highest point in Korogwe District is Mafi Peak at 1,442m.
Wilaya ya Korogwe ilikuwa moja ya wilaya 7 za Mkoa wa Tanga nchini Tanzania hadi mnamo 2011. Baadaye iligawiwa kwa Wilaya ya Korogwe Vijijini na Wilaya ya Korogwe Mjini. Mwaka 2002 ilikuwa na wakazi 261,004 .

Der Distrikt grenzt im Norden an die Distrikte Lushoto und Bumbuli, im Osten an die Distrikte Mkinga und Muheza, im Süden an die Distrikte Korogwe (TC) und Handeni und im Westen an die Regionen Manyara und Kilimandscharo.
Η Περιοχή Κορόγκουε (Αγγλικά: Korogwe District, Σουαχίλι: Wilaya ya Korogwe), είναι μία από τις οκτώ Επαρχίες στην Περιφέρεια Τάνγκα (Tanga Region) της Τανζανίας. Στα βόρεια συνορεύει με την Περιοχή Λουσότο (Lushoto District), στα ανατολικά με την Περιοχή Μουχέζα (Muheza District), στα νότια με την Περιοχή Χαντένι (Handeni District) και στα δυτικά με την Περιφέρεια Κιλιμαντζάρο (Kilimanjaro Region).
