Die Organisation erdölexportierender Länder (kurz OPEC, von englisch Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) ist eine 1960 gegründete internationale Organisation mit Sitz in Wien. Derzeit gehören dem Kartell dreizehn Staaten an: Algerien, Angola, Äquatorialguinea, Gabun, Iran, Irak, die Republik Kongo, Kuwait, Libyen, Nigeria, Saudi-Arabien, die Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate und Venezuela. Indonesien trat Ende 2016 aus. Katar verließ die OPEC im Januar 2019, Ecuador Ende Januar 2020.

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC, OH-pek) is a cartel of 13 countries. Founded on 14 September 1960 in Baghdad by the first five members (Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Venezuela), it has, since 1965, been headquartered in Vienna, Austria, although Austria is not an OPEC member state. As of September 2018, the 13 member countries accounted for an estimated 44 percent of global oil production and 81.5 percent of the world's proven oil reserves, giving OPEC a major influence on global oil prices that were previously determined by the so-called "Seven Sisters" grouping of multinational oil companies.

De Organisatie van olie-exporterende landen (Engels: Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC) is een samenwerkingsverband van dertien landen die netto olie uitvoeren. De intergouvernementele organisatie probeert door het veranderen van het aanbod van olie de prijs daarvan te sturen. Economen beschouwen de OPEC vaak als een kartel. Dit kartel is echter niet illegaal daar het een internationale overeenkomst betreft die staten hebben gesloten op grond van hun soevereiniteit.

La Organización de Países Exportadores de Petróleo (OPEP) es una organización reconocida desde el 6 de noviembre de 1962 por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU), gracias a la resolución número 6.363.

L'Organizzazione dei Paesi esportatori di petrolio, meglio conosciuta come OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries), fondata nel 1960, comprende tredici Paesi che si sono associati, formando un cartello economico, per negoziare con le compagnie petrolifere aspetti relativi alla produzione di petrolio, prezzi e concessioni. La sede dell'OPEC, dapprima stabilita a Ginevra, a partire dal 1º settembre 1965 è stata trasferita a Vienna.
