Yanun (Arabic: يانون, romanized: Yânûn) is a Palestinian village in the Nablus Governorate in northern West Bank, located 12 kilometers (7.5 mi) southeast of Nablus, and 3 miles north of Aqraba. It lies within Area C, under total Israeli control, of the West Bank. It is divided into two sites, upper and lower Yanun. Upper or northern Yanin is considered illegal by the Israeli authorities, and development is prohibited there. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), the village had a population of 102 in 2007. This was a decrease from 2004 when the PCBS recorded that Yanun had 145 inhabitants. The residents of the village have to travel to Beit Furik for primary health care.
يانون قرية فلسطينية صغيرة بالقرب من مدينة نابلس وتبعد 15 كم عن مدينة نابلس، أطلق عليها البعض القرية «المنسية»، باتت شبه خالية؛ جراء رحيل جزء كبير من سكانها قسرًا، في الوقت التي تزدهر من حولها المستوطنات، ويعتمد أهالي قرية يانون على الزراعة ورعي الأغنام كمصدر أساسي للرزق.
יאנון (בערבית: يانون) הוא כפר פלסטיני קטן בנפת שכם, שמונה כ-120 תושבים. יאנון שוכנת מעט צפונית-מערבית לעיירה עקרבה. הכפר ממוקם על שתי גבעות, הגבעה הצפונית המכונה "יאנון אל-פוקא" (יאנון עילית) או "ח'רבת יאנון" והדרומית "יאנון א-תחתא" (יאנון תחתית). יאנון מוקפת במספר מאחזים הקשורים להתנחלות איתמר: גבעות עולם, מצפה שלושת הימים, גבעת ארנון, הר גדעון וגבעת ינוח.
Yanun —en àrab يانون, Yânûn— és un vila palestina de la governació de Nablus, a Cisjordània, al nord de la vall del Jordà, 12 kilòmetres al sud-est de Nablus. Segons l'Oficina Central Palestina d'Estadístiques tenia una població de 102 habitants en 2006, que ha baixat dels 145 que tenia en 2004. Es troba a l'Àrea C, sota control total israelià de Cisjordània. Està dividida en dos llocs, alt i baix. La part alta és considerada il·legal per les autoritats israelianes, que hi han prohibit el desenvolupament. Els residents de la vila han de viatjar a Beit Furik per rebre assistència sanitària primària.
