Asker museum, Valstads samlinger er eit kulturhistorisk museum i Hvalstaddalen, som på denne staden òg vert kalla Kunstnerdalen, på Hvalstad i Asker kommune, og med avdelingar andre stader i kommunen. Museet er ei avdeling i Akershusmuseet.
Heggedal kyrkje står i Heggedal sør i Asker kommune i Akershus fylke, og er ei tømra langkyrkje bygd i åra 1929–31. Ho høyrer til Asker prosti i Oslo bispedømme og vart innvigd 12. april 1931. Arkitekt for bygget var Fritz Holland.

Lieråsen Tunnel is a single-tubed railway tunnel of the Drammen Line situated in Asker, Røyken and Lier in Norway. At a length of 10.723 kilometers (6.663 mi), the double track tunnel is located immediately between Asker Station and Lier Station. It is used for a mix of short- and long-haul passenger trains and freight trains.

Nesøytjern naturreservat er eit området kring Nesøytjernet på Nesøya i Asker kommune som vart verna 10. mars 1978 i medhald av § 8 i Naturvernloven. Vernet gjeld både Nesøytjern og det meste av nedslagsfeltet kring tjernet, altså det området som har avrenning til tjernet. Føremålet med verninga var å take vare på ein variert og særsynt type natur med både edellauvskog og sumpvegetasjon, og å verne om dei naturlege produksjonssystema som har gjeve eit særskilt plante- og dyreliv i og i samband med eit tjern som er næringsrikt av naturlege årsaker. Nesøytjern naturreservat dekkjer eit areal på 495 dekar, og av dette er landarealet om lag 317 dekar og vatnarealet om lag 178 dekar.
Asker (Norwegian: Asker or Askerbygda) is a district and former municipality in Akershus, Norway. From 2020 it is part of the larger administrative municipality Asker, Viken (also known as Greater Asker) in Viken county together with the traditional Buskerud districts Røyken and Hurum; Asker proper constitutes the northern fourth of the municipality. Asker is part of the Greater Oslo Region. The administrative centre of the municipality was the town of Asker, which remains the administrative centre of the new larger municipality. The municipality was established as a parish in the middle ages and as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt).
Statkraft osmotic power prototype is the world's first osmotic power plant, based on the energy of osmosis. The power plant is run by Statkraft. The power plant is located at Tofte in Hurum, Norway, with rooms at the factory area at Södra Cell Tofte cellulose factory. The power plant uses the osmotic gradient that occurs when fresh water and salt water meet, separated by a permeable membrane. The salt water pulls fresh water through the membrane and the pressure increases on the salt water side; this pressure increase can be used to produce electrical power with the use of a normal hydroelectric turbine/generator setup.

The Skaugum Tunnel (Norwegian: Skaugumtunnelen) is a 3,790-meter (12,434 ft) long railway tunnel in Asker, Norway, on the Asker Line. The tunnel runs between Asker Station and Solstad and was built as part of the first stage of the Asker Line, between Asker and Sandvika. Construction started in February 2002 and the tunnel opened on 27 August 2005. The tunnel was built by Mika for the Norwegian National Rail Administration using the drilling and blasting method with one crosscut. During construction there was one blasting accident. Since the tunnel opened, there have been problems with leaks damaging the infrastructure. The tunnel has double track, is electrified and allows for a maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour (99 mph). The cost to build the tunnel, excluding the infrastructure, was 450 million Norwegian krone (NOK). The tunnel has accelerated intercity and regional traffic west of Oslo and freed up capacity for the Oslo Commuter Rail on the old Drammen Line.
Tanum Tunnel (Norwegian: Tanumtunnelen) is 3,590-meter-long (11,780 ft) double-track railway tunnel on the Asker Line, between Jong in Bærum and Åstad in Asker, Norway. It was built as part of the first stage of the Asker Line, between Asker and Sandvika; construction started in February 2002 and the tunnel opened on 27 August 2005. The tunnel was built by AF Gruppen for the Norwegian National Rail Administration. Most of the tunneling was conducted using the drilling and blasting method, although the easternmost 800 meters (2,600 ft) were built using the cut-and-cover method. After the tunnel opened, there have been problems with leaks damaging the superstructure. The tunnel has double track, is electrified and allows for a maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour (100 mph). The cost to build the tunnel, excluding the superstructure, was 370 million Norwegian krone (NOK). The tunnel will accelerate intercity and regional traffic west of Oslo and free up capacity for the Oslo Commuter Rail on the Drammen Line.
Bleiker High School (Bleiker videregående skole) is located in Asker, Norway. The school was established in 1969 under the name Asker vocational school and was the first vocational school in Asker . Previously, students would take vocational education go to Sandvika. But in 1967, two branch classes in Asker, and they became the basis for the new school was the first time lived in many places. Gråøya er ei lita øy i Asker kommune i Viken fylke. Ho ligg i Oslofjorden rett utfor Åros om lag 45 km sør for Oslo.
Nesøytjernet er eit tjern, eller eit lite vatn som ligg 14 meter over havet på Nesøya i Asker kommune. Tjernet og dei neraste omgjevnadene er verna som Nesøytjern naturreservat på grunn av den rike og til dels sjeldsynte floraen og dyrelivet. Ein bekk ut frå den austre enden gjev tjernet avløp til Indre Oslofjord. I tjernet er det ei lita øy.
Gjellumvannet er eit tjern som ligg i Asker kommune i Viken. Gjellumvannet ligg i Heggedal, rett nord for Heggedal sentrum. På søraustsiden av vatnet er det badeplass. Elles er mykje av breidda prega av takrøyr.
Langåra, eller Nordre Langåra, er ei 2 kilometer lang og 200 meter brei øy i Asker kommune, og ei av dei større øyane i Indre Oslofjord. Namnet Nordre Langåra vert nytta på kart og i andre samanhengar for å skilje denne øya frå ei anna øy sørover i Oslofjorden med same namnet, men som høyrer til Frogn kommune, og som formelt har fått namnet Søndre Langåra. Men i lokal daglegtale vert for det meste berre namnet Langåra nytta i båe høve.
