Northcote Central is a suburb of Auckland's North Shore, in northern New Zealand. It is located on the northern shore of the Waitematā Harbour.
The Defence Armament Depot, named the Kauri Point Armament Depot until 2010, is a New Zealand Defence Force munitions storage facility in the Auckland suburb of Chatswood which was originally built for the Royal New Zealand Navy. The Depot has access to Waitematā Harbour. The armament depot was established in 1935, and was considerably expanded during the Second World War. A program to modernise the facility was announced in 2011.
Northcote College is a New Zealand secondary school for boys and girls (co-educational) located in Northcote, Auckland. The school caters for Form 3 (Year 9) to Form 7 (Year 13). It was founded in 1877 and is the oldest secondary school on the North Shore.
Second Harbour Crossing is the name given to the proposed second transport link across the Waitematā Harbour in Auckland, New Zealand. The second link would supplement the Auckland Harbour Bridge which is nearly at capacity and also provide more redundancy and public transport linkages between Auckland City and North Shore City. It is sometimes also called the Third Harbour Crossing, as there is already an Upper Harbour Bridge (or Greenhithe Bridge). More recently, it is named Additional Waitematā Harbour Crossing (AWHC) in planning documents.
Glenfield Mall is an enclosed shopping centre in the North Shore suburb of Glenfield, Auckland, New Zealand. It is situated between Glenfield Road to the west, Downing Street to the south and Bentley Avenue to the north. The centre features major retailers including Farmers, The Warehouse, Countdown, Briscoes Homeware and, since the first half of 2017, a North Shore car dealer's showroom complete with cars. The Glenfield Night Market is held in the car park on Sunday evenings.

It existed for 90 years, opening on 3 June 1928 and closing on 31 August 2018. The school had a strong Catholic and Māori character. It was located on part of the land originally given by Sir George Grey, Governor of New Zealand, to Bishop Pompallier, the first Bishop of Auckland, in 1849 for education purposes.
