Allesley () is a village and civil parish in the City of Coventry metropolitan borough, West Midlands, about 4 miles (5.25 km) west-northwest of Coventry city centre and 4 miles (6.5 km) east-south-east of Meriden. Located in the Arden area of historic Warwickshire, the parish population according to the 2001 census was 805, which rose to 837 at the 2011 census, and as of the 2021 census, the population was 908 (excluding the neighbouring suburbs of Allesley Park and Allesley Green). Until 1998, Allesley contained the main Jaguar car assembly plant at Browns Lane.

The 1939 Coventry bombing was an act of terrorism committed by the Irish Republican Army (IRA) on 25 August 1939 in which a 5.1 lb (2.3 kg) bomb upon a bicycle was placed in Coventry city centre in the West Midlands of England as part of the organisation's 1939-40 S-Plan campaign. The explosion resulted in the deaths of five civilians, with over seventy others injured.

The cellars of 21 and 22 High Street are listed buildings in the centre of Coventry, in the West Midlands of England. The cellar of No 21 is a Grade II listed building, while that of No 22 is Grade I listed, meaning that they are sites of "special architectural or historic interest". The cellars were formerly a single crypt, built in the 15th century (CE). They are constructed from sandstone, and measure approximately 17 x 20 feet (No 21) and 56 x 27 feet (No 22). Both are supported by large octagonal columns and ribbed vaulting. They were listed in 1955 (No 22) and 1975 (No 21). The cellars may be some of the oldest remaining traces of domestic building work in Coventry, and several similar cellars exist elsewhere on High Street and other nearby streets, some dating back to the 14th century. The cellars are divided into two aisles, each containing four bays, which are divided by the octagonal columns.

Spon Street (sometimes referred to as Historic Spon Street or Medieval Spon Street) is an historic street in central Coventry, in the West Midlands of England. The street was once part of a route that ran from Gosford to Birmingham – a route which remained intact (though superseded by more modern roads) until the 1960s. During the construction of Coventry's Inner Ring Road, built to relieve traffic on the narrow city centre streets, Spon Street was cut in half and the route severed.

Allesley Castle is a former motte and bailey castle in Allesley, Coventry. The mound has never been excavated. All that remains of the castle is a large mound - the motte - and a defensive ditch approximately 45 metres (148 ft) in diameter. The ditch contains several concrete blocks which are thought to be bases for bridges over the motte. The site is a scheduled historical monument.
