The Asher Morton Farmstead is a farm located on Lower Terre Haute Road 4.5 miles (7.2 km) south of Paris, Illinois. The farmstead was constructed circa 1860 by Asher Morton, an Ohioan who moved to the area in 1850. The farmhouse is an I-house, a vernacular style of house named for its popularity in the three Midwestern "I" states of Illinois, Indiana, and Iowa. The house features two rooms on each floor with a central hall and staircase, the typical floor plan of the "Classic" style of I-house; however, the house has three front bays, while Classic I-houses typically had five. The exterior design of the house is influenced by the Greek Revival and Gothic Revival styles. The farmstead also includes a summer kitchen and a barn, which were also built by Morton.

The Pine Grove Community Club is a historic community club located at the junction of 1500N and 1300E north-northwest of Paris, Illinois. The club includes two buildings, a brick schoolhouse and a former church. The school was constructed in the late 1800s, while the church was built in 1891. The club itself was established in the early 1930s as part of a community development program in Edgar County. The program, inspired by the Country Life Movement, sought to develop rural communities such as Pine Grove and improve the quality of life of its residents. While the club initially met in the schoolhouse, it purchased the church for its meetings in 1935 after the congregation folded. The club had 40 members in 1935; the number declined to below 30 by the 1960s, though the club still met as of 1983.

The Paris Elks Lodge No. 812 Building is a historic building located at 111 E. Washington St. in Paris, Illinois. The building served as a meeting place for the Paris lodge of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. The building was constructed in 1927, 25 years after the Paris Lodge was chartered. Architect Everett Blackman, a member of the lodge, designed the building in the Mediterranean Revival style. Blackman's design features an arcade loggia enclosing the front entrance and a square tower with a parapet roof designed to resemble elk antlers. The building's amenities included a bar and ballroom on the second floor, a bowling alley in the basement, and meeting rooms for the lodge. The third floor of the building housed rooms for the adjacent France Hotel; it was connected to the hotel by a stone walkway and cannot be accessed from the lower floors. The Elks used the building until the lodge filed for bankruptcy in 1978.

The Shaw-Van Gilder House is a historic house located at 306 E. Crawford St. in Paris, Illinois. Elvis Perry Shaw, a local businessman and mercantile clerk, built the house in 1853. The house is an example of an I-house, a vernacular style named for its popularity in the three Midwestern states beginning with "I". Characteristic features of the I-house which can be seen in the Shaw-Van Gilder House include the five symmetrical bays on its front and its central interior corridor. The house's design was also influenced by the Greek Revival and Italianate styles; the former style can be seen in the home's front entrance, windows, and roof, while the latter can be seen in its bracketed porch. Shaw and his family lived in the house until 1941, when Shaw's descendants sold the property to the Van Gilder family.

The Henry Clay Moss House is a historic house located at 414 N. Main St. in Paris, Illinois. The Italianate house was built in 1876 for local businessman Henry Clay Moss. The home features a wraparound porch supported by columns, a hipped roof with a bracketed cornice, and a projecting hexagonal bay on its west side. The interior of the home includes home office space and features decorative wooden door and window surrounds and trim as well as a cantilevered flight of stairs. Moss lost the house in 1877, and it passed through a succession of owners until livestock breeder Daniel Arthur bought the home in 1895; the home remained in the Arthur family until 1976.
