McKinney Stables of Empire City Farms is a historic stable building located at Cuba in Allegany County, New York. It is a massive concrete block and terra cotta horse barn built in 1907–1909, and located on a 99-acre (400,000 m2) property in a semi-rural section of the town of Cuba. It was built by William Simpson to house his prize trotter McKinney and McKinney's offspring. The stable is 347 feet (106 m) long and 50 feet (15 m) wide. Linear in plan, the 3-story center section is flanked by two, 2-story 150-foot (46 m) wings, that end in 2+12-story cross-gable story pavilions. The stable property lies adjacent to the South Street Historic District.

The Bare Knuckle Boxing Hall of Fame is a museum and hall of fame in Belfast, New York, dedicated to the sport of bare-knuckle boxing. It is housed in barns that were once owned by the Greco-Roman wrestling champion and physical culture pioneer William Muldoon. The heavyweight boxing champion John L. Sullivan, who fought in both bare-knuckled and gloved boxing contests, trained in these barns under Muldoon's guidance for his championship bout against Jake Kilrain in 1889. The barns were originally across Main Street from their current location, on the grounds of the Belfast Catholic Church. They were bought, moved, and restored by Scott Burt when the church became no longer interested in maintaining them. Burt opened the Hall of Fame in 2009, when it had its first induction class.

It was built around 1809 by Moses Van Campen (1757–1849) and is on a 47-acre (190,000 m2) property. Van Campen was a Revolutionary War veteran, Indian fighter, and surveyor. He served as judge and justice of peace, and as Allegany county treasurer. It is acknowledged as the first brick structure in the area and one of the earliest extant structures along this road. The road was laid out in 1810 by Van Campen as the original Bath-Olean Turnpike.

Fireman's Hall is a historic fire hall located at Alfred in Allegany County, New York. It was built in 1890-1891 by volunteer firemen as the first home of the A.E. Crandall Hook & Ladder Co. It is a massive three story brick and sandstone structure that features an imposing bell / clock tower. The clock, designed by Seth Thomas, was donated by the Samuel Stillman family after the Village ran out of funds for the hall. The weather vane atop depicts a firefighter on a ladder. The building has housed village offices since the 1970s, as well as village court, police station and meeting hall today.
