The Medina Masonic Temple and Medina Theater in Medina, Ohio was the first movie theater in Medina. Constructed in 1924 this two screen auditorium operated from 1937 until its closure in 2000. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Highland High School is a public high school in Granger Township, Ohio, United States, near Medina. The school serves students from Hinckley, Granger, Sharon, Montville, Copley, Medina, and Brunswick townships. In 2021, Highland High School was raked #881 nationally and #34 in Ohio by U.S News “Best Schools”.

Fox Meadow Country Club, located in Montville Township, Medina County, just southeast of Medina, Ohio is one of three WVICC country clubs in northeast Ohio. Its $3.4 million golf course was designed by architect Steve Bruns, completed in 1995, and opened in 1996. In a private tour with the developer, then Ohio governor George Voinovich said that Fox Meadow was "the finest project in the state".

Wadsworth Institute was a Mennonite seminary in Wadsworth, Ohio, from 1868 to 1878. Officially named the "Christian Educational Institution of the Mennonite Denomination", it accepted men aged 18 to 35 for a three-year program centering on biblical studies and other topics relevant to training pastors and mission workers. Starting in 1876, women were accepted as day students. Classes were primarily taught in German and some in English.

The Universalist Church of Westfield Center is a historic church in Westfield Center, Ohio, United States. One of Ohio's oldest Universalist congregations, it has experienced a generally peaceful history since its establishment in the 1830s. Located on the village green, the congregation's church building has been named a historic site.

Chippewa Lake Park is an abandoned theme park once located in Chippewa Lake, Ohio, Medina County. It operated from 1878 through 1978, after the final owner, Continental Business Enterprises closed it due to a lack of attendance. After the park's closure, its rides and structures were left largely untouched and unmaintained for over 40 years.
