The National Hellenic Research Foundation (NHRF; Greek: Εθνικό Ίδρυμα Ερευνών (Ε.Ι.Ε.)) is a non-profit, private-law legal entity established in 1958 with the aim of conducting interdisciplinary research in the fields of science and the humanities. Το Εθνικό Ίδρυμα Ερευνών (Ε.Ι.Ε.) είναι νομικό πρόσωπο ιδιωτικού δικαίου (Ν.Π.Ι.Δ.), μη κερδοσκοπικού χαρακτήρα, το οποίο ιδρύθηκε το 1958 με σκοπό τη διεξαγωγή διεπιστημονικής έρευνας στους τομείς των ανθρωπιστικών και θετικών επιστημών. Εποπτεύεται από τη Γενική Γραμματεία Έρευνας & Καινοτομίας (ΓΓΕΚ) του Υπουργείου Ανάπτυξης και Επενδύσεων.

La Fondation nationale de la recherche hellénique (en grec moderne : Εθνικό Ίδρυμα Ερευνών - Ethnikó Ídryma Erefnón), est un institut de recherche grec, de droit privé à but non lucratif, créée en 1958, dans le but de mener des recherches interdisciplinaires dans différents domaines des sciences. Elle est supervisée par le Secrétariat général à la recherche et à la technologie (GSRT) du ministère du Développement. La fondation est localisée à Athènes.
