The Eisenstück affair (German: Eisenstück-Affäre, Spanish: asunto Eisenstück), codenamed Operation Nicaragua by the Imperial German Navy, was a diplomatic-military incident involving the German Empire and Nicaragua in 1877 and 1878.
Bei der Eisenstuck-Affäre 1876–1878 handelte es sich um eine diplomatisch-militärische Auseinandersetzung zwischen dem Deutschen Reich und der Republik Nicaragua. Dabei kam die junge, noch im Aufbau befindliche Kaiserliche Marine zu einem ihrer bis dahin größten militärischen Einsätze in Übersee. Sie fand sowohl an der Pazifik- als auch an der Atlantikküste statt.
L'affaire Eisenstuck désigne un conflit diplomatique et militaire de 1876 à 1878 entre l'Empire allemand et la république du Nicaragua. Elle est l'opération militaire la plus importante de la Kaiserliche Marine en Amérique centrale à la fin du XIXe siècle. Elle a lieu à la fois sur la côte de l'océan Pacifique et la côte de l'océan Atlantique.
