The Nihonkai montane deciduous forests ecoregion (WWF ID: PA0428) covers the Nihonkai (Sea of Japan-side) mountain slopes of Japan's central island of Honshu, including most of the northern half of the island. Also included in the ecoregion are the forested lowland hills of the Oshima Peninsula, which is the southern extension of Hokkaido Island.
니혼카이 산악 낙엽수림(영어: Nihonkai montane deciduous forests)은 일본 북부의 온대 활엽수혼합림이다. 대부분이 혼슈의 등뼈를 가로지르는 산맥에서 동해(일본해) 쪽 사면에 분포하며, 홋카이도의 오시마반도 저지대 구릉지의 삼림도 여기에 속한다.
Les forêts décidues d'altitude du Nihonkai forment une écorégion terrestre définie par le Fonds mondial pour la nature (WWF), qui appartient au biome des forêts de feuillus et forêts mixtes tempérées de l'écozone paléarctique. Elle englobe les régions de moyenne altitude de l'île d'Honshū orientées vers la mer du Japon (Nihonkai), ainsi que la péninsule d'Ōshima sur Hokkaidō.
