The Sciberras Peninsula is a peninsula in the South Eastern Region of Malta, between the Grand Harbour in the south and Marsamxett Harbour in the north. At its end stands the Mount Sciberras, which gave its name to the peninsula. During the Arab occupation the peninsula was called Mu'awiya, which has been taken up in Maltese as Xagħriet Mewwija (uncultivated and undulating heaths).
Sciberras (malt. peniżola ta' Xiberras, ang. Sciberras, wł. Sceberras) – półwysep i wzgórze (malt. l-Għolja Xiberras) na wyspie Malcie. Rozdziela zatokę i międzynarodowy port morski Wielki Port (ang. Grand Harbour) od zatoki i portu morskiego Marsamxett. Wzgórze ma wysokość 56 metrów.
La péninsule de Xiberras est la langue de terre comprise entre Grand Harbour au sud et Marsamxett Harbour au nord,. À l'extrémité de cette péninsule,(parfois appelée presqu'île malgré l'absence d'isthme), s'élève la colline de Xiberras qui a donné son nom à cette péninsule. Pendant l'occupation arabe la péninsule fut appelée Mu'awiya, repris en maltais sous le nom de Xagħriet Mewwija (landes incultes et ondulantes).
