Værløse Kommune var indtil 2007 en kommune i Københavns Amt. 1. januar 1970 havde den 14.850 indbyggere, så den var stor nok til ikke at blive lagt sammen med andre kommuner ved kommunalreformen i 1970.
Værløse was a municipality (Danish, kommune) consisting of only one parish also named Værløse in the former Copenhagen County on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 34 km2, and in 2005 had a total population of 18,649. Its last mayor was Jesper Bach, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. He was the first mayor of the newly formed Furesø municipality. The community is connected by a road and a motorway and commuter railway to Farum to the north via an isthmus at Fiskebæk between Lake Farum sø and Lake Furesø. The road and motorway run through a small forest on the western shore of Lake Furesø and is almost out of sight and hearing distance from nearby homes in Værløse, but north of the isthmus they run through the town of Farum, separating it in a western and eastern part.
Værløse kommun var en kommun i Köpenhamns amt i Danmark. Kommunens huvudort var Værløse. Kommunen hade 18 633 invånare (2006) och en yta på 33,99 km². Den 1 januari 2007 slogs den samman med Farums kommun till Furesø kommun på Furesøens västra sida i Region Hovedstaden ca 15 km nordväst om Köpenhamn. Den nya kommunen har en yta på 56,68 km².
Værløse Kommune war bis Dezember 2006 eine dänische Kommune im damaligen Københavns Amt auf der Hauptinsel Seeland. Seit Januar 2007 ist sie zusammen mit der ehemaligen Kommune Farum Teil der neugebildeten Furesø Kommune. Værløse Kommune lag im nordwestlichen Vorortbereich von Kopenhagen und umfasste die Stadtteile Værløse, Hareskovby, Kirke Værløse und Jonstrup.
