The Ottoman conquest of Lesbos took place in September 1462. The Ottoman Empire, under Sultan Mehmed II, laid siege to the island's capital, Mytilene. After its surrender, the other forts of the island surrendered as well. The event put an end to the semi-independent Genoese lordship that the Gattilusio family had established in the northeastern Aegean since the mid-14th century, and heralded the beginning of the First Ottoman–Venetian War in the following year.
Η άλωση της Λέσβου από τους Οθωμανούς Τούρκους πραγματοποιήθηκε τον Σεπτέμβριο του 1462. Η οθωμανική αυτοκρατορία, υπό τον σουλτάνο Μωάμεθ Β΄, πολιόρκησε και κατέλαβε την πρωτεύουσα του νησιού, Μυτιλήνη. Μετά την παράδοσή της, παραδόθηκαν και τα άλλα κάστρα του νησιού. Το γεγονός τερμάτισε την ημιαυτόνομη Γενουάτικη κυριαρχία που ο οίκος των Γκατιλλούσιο είχε εγκαταστήσει στο βορειοανατολικό Αιγαίο από τα μέσα του 14ου αιώνα κι επιτάχυνε την έναρξη του πρώτου οθωμανικού-βενετσιάνικου πολέμου το επόμενο έτος.
La conquête de Lesbos par les Ottomans a lieu en . L'Empire ottoman, sous la direction du sultan Mehmed II, assiège la capitale de l'île, Mytilène. Après sa reddition, les autres forts de l'île se rendent également. Cet événement met fin à la seigneurie génoise semi-indépendante que la famille Gattilusi avait établie dans le nord-est de la mer Égée depuis le milieu du XIVe siècle, et annonce le début de la première guerre vénéto-ottomane l'année suivante.

Midilli'nin Fethi veya Midilli Kuşatması, 1462 yılının Eylül ayında Fatih Sultan Mehmet komutasındaki Osmanlı İmparatorluğu ile Midilli dukası Nicolas Gattilusio komutasındaki Ceneviz Cumhuriyeti ile yapılmış savaştır. Savaş 27 gün sürmüş ve genel hücum başlayacağı sırada kalenin direnemeyeceğini anlayan Nicolas Gattilusio teslim olmuştur.
