Talara is a province in the Piura Region, Peru. It is bordered by the Pacific Ocean on the west, the Paita Province on the south, the Sullana Province on the east and the Tumbes Region's Contralmirante Villar Province on the north. Its capital is the major port city of Talara. It also contains the beach resort of Máncora. The province was created by the President Manuel A. Odría in 1956.
Talara is een van de acht provincies in de regio Piura in Peru. De provincie heeft een oppervlakte van 2.799 km² en heeft 132.695 inwoners (2015). De hoofdplaats van de provincie is het district Pariñas; dit district vormt eveneens de stad (ciudad) Talara.
La provincia de Talara es una de las ocho que conforman el departamento de Piura en el norte del Perú. Limita por el norte con el departamento de Tumbes, por el este con la provincia de Sullana, por el sur con la provincia de Paita y por el oeste con el océano Pacífico.
