Gavaravaram is a census town in Eluru district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Gavaravaram is also known as Venkayapalam because of Gopina Venkana Garu (1914-1991) who once owned most areas of the village. It is located in Eluru mandal of Eluru revenue division. The town is a constituent of Eluru urban agglomeration.
గవరవరం, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, రాష్ట్రం ఏలూరు జిల్లా, ఏలూరు మండలం లోని జనగణన పట్టణం. గవరవరం పట్టణానికి వెంకయ్యపాలెం అనే మరో పేరు ఉంది. దీనికి కారణం గోపిన వెంకయ్య 1914 నుండి 1991 వరకు ఎంతో గొప్ప వ్యక్తి.ఇతను ఒకానొక సమయంలో గ్రామంలోని చాలా ప్రాంతాలను తన స్వంతం చేసుకున్నాడు.అందువలన దానికి ఆ పేరు కూడా సార్థకమైంది. ఇది ఏలూరు మండలం, ఏలూరు రెవెన్యూ డివిజనులో ఒక భాగం. ఏలూరు అర్బన్ సముదాయం పరిధికి చెందుతుంది.
