Er wurde im Juli 2016 nach Plänen des Schönberger Architekten Josef Stöger errichtet. Oberhalb der Cloef gelegen kann man von ihm aus die Saarschleife beobachten. Betrieben wird die touristische Attraktion von dem Unternehmen Erlebnis Akademie AG.
