上海城隍庙是上海最主要的道教正一派道观，也是上海市文物保护单位与著名景点，位于上海市方浜中路249号，毗连豫园。上海城隍庙始建于明永乐元年（1403年），由原霍光行祠改建而成。此后历经多次扩建，於清朝道光初年达到鼎盛。民国13年（1924年）中元节，“三巡会”举办过程中发生火灾而被毁。民国15年（1926年）重建，采用钢筋混凝土，并於次年落成。1966年4月起，城隍庙开始停止宗教活动，庙产一度改做商场。1994年11月，上海城隍庙归还予上海道教协会，并於次年恢复宗教活动至今。
The City God Temple or Temple of the City Gods (simplified Chinese: 上海城隍庙; traditional Chinese: 上海城隍廟; pinyin: Shànghǎi Chénghuángmiào; Shanghainese: Zånhae Senwonmioh), officially the City Temple of Shanghai, is a folk temple located in the old city of Shanghai. It commemorates the elevation of Shanghai to municipal status and is the site of the veneration of three Chinese figures honored as the city gods of the town. It is also known by some locals as the "Old City God Temple", in reference to a later "New City God Temple" which no longer exists.
上海城隍廟（シャンハイじょうこうびょう、簡体字中国語: 上海城隍庙、拼音: Shànghǎi Chénghuángmiào）は、俗称は、老城隍廟といい、上海の著名な観光地であり、道教の正一教の重要な宮観（道教の建物）である。

Aujourd'hui, le terme de « temple du dieu de la ville » ne se réfère plus uniquement au complexe du temple mais également au quartier traditionnel et commercial qui l'entoure. Il y a plus d'une centaine de boutiques et de magasins dans ce secteur dont la plupart des bâtiments sont centenaires. Le temple est relié au jardin Yu, un autre point d'intérêt de la ville.
De Chenghuangtempel van Shanghai is een taoïstische tempel die gewijd is aan de taoïstische god Chenghuang. Chenghuang is de god van het lokale gebied, hier van Shanghai. De tempel ligt in Zuid-Huangpu (district) van Shanghai en wordt door de taoïstische stroming Zhengyidao als zeer belangrijk beschouwd. Er worden regelmatig miaohui georganiseerd. 상하이 성황묘(上海城隍庙)는 상하이 구도시의 오래된 도교 사원이다. 2006년 1년간의 공사로 복원되었다. 황푸구 남부 예원 맞은 편에 위치하며, 예원 상청에 가로 막혀 바로 보이지는 않는다.
