Policia e shtetit ose policia shqiptare është policia dhe Agjencia Kombëtare e zbatimit të ligjit e cila vepron në të gjithë Republikën e Shqipërisë. Rrëzimi i sistemit komunist dhe vendosja e pluralizmit politik pas vitit 1991 solli ndryshime të rëndësishme në strukturën e policisë shqiptare. Ministria e Rendit Publik dhe Drejtoria e Përgjithshme e Policisë u krijuan në Prill 1991 dhe ligji i ri i Korrikut 1991 krijoi Policinë e Rendit Publik. Gati 80% e fuqisë punëtore të mëparshme të policisë, u zëvendësuan me rekrutë të rinj. Më 4 Nëntor 1991, policia shqiptare u pranua si anëtare e Interpolit. Numri i urgjencës është 129.
The Albanian State Police (Albanian: Policia e Shtetit) is the national police and law enforcement agency which operates throughout the Republic of Albania. The collapse of the Communist system and the establishment of political pluralism post-1991 brought important changes to the structure of the Albanian Police. The Ministry of Public Order and the General Directorate of Police were established in April 1991, and the new law of July 1991 established the Public Order Police. Nearly 80% of police manpower, i.e. personnel who had served under the previous system, were replaced by new recruits. On 4 November 1991, the Albanian Police was accepted as a member of Interpol.
Die Policia e Shtetit (albanisch für „Polizei des Staates“) ist die Polizei in Albanien. Die Leitung übernimmt die Generaldirektion (alb. Drejtoria e Përgjithshme), die sich in das Department gegen organisierte Kriminalität und Schwerverbrechen, das Department für öffentliche Sicherheit (unter anderem Verkehrspolizeidirektion und Spezialeinheiten „RENEA“ und „FNSH“), das Department für Grenze und Migration, das Department für unterstützende Dienstleistungen und das Department für Polizeiausbildung untergliedert. Generaldirektor ist Haki Çako.
La Policía estatal albanesa[1] (en albanés: Policia e Shtetit) es el cuerpo de seguridad del gobierno de Albania, estando encargado de aplicación de la ley dentro de su territorio, teniendo varias ramas dedicadas a tareas específicas, desde el orden público al control de fronteras entre otro. Desde el 4 de noviembre de 1991, la policía estatal albanesa forma parte de Interpol.[2]
