The Arakkal Museum is a museum dedicated to the Arakkal family, the only Muslim royal family in Kerala, India. The museum is actually a section of the Arakkalkettu (Arakkal Royal Palace). The durbar hall section of the palace has been converted into a museum by the Government of Kerala. It was opened in July 2005 after a Rs. 9,000,000 renovation.

കേരളത്തിലെ ഏക മുസ്ലിം രാജവംശമായ അറക്കൽ രാജവംശത്തിന്റെ കൊട്ടാരമായ അറക്കൽ കൊട്ടാരത്തിന്റെ(അറക്കൽ കെട്ട്, അറക്കൽ കോട്ട എന്നും പറയപ്പെടുന്നു) ദർബാർ ഹാളാണ് പിന്നീട് സർക്കാറിന്റെ കീഴിൽ മ്യൂസിയം ആയി ഏർപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. ഇതാണ് അറക്കൽ മ്യൂസിയം എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. 2005-ൽ സംസ്ഥാന വിനോദ സഞ്ചാരവകുപ്പിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ പുരാവസ്തു വകുപ്പ് ഏറ്റെടുത്ത് 90 ലക്ഷം രൂപയോളം മുടക്കി പുനരുദ്ധാരണ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളും നവീകരണ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളും നടത്തി നവീകരിച്ചതിനുശേഷം 2005 ജൂലൈയിൽ കേരള മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടി, ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി കെ.സി. വേണുഗോപാൽ, സാംസ്കാരിക മന്ത്രി എ.പി. അനിൽകുമാർ എന്നിവർ ചേർന്നാണ് ഈ മ്യൂസിയം പൊതുജനങ്ങൾക്കായി തുറന്ന് കൊടുത്തത്. പിന്നീട് 2016-ൽ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട പിണറായി വിജയൻ സർക്കാരിന്റെ പ്രഥമ ബജറ്റിൽ 15 കോടി രൂപ അനുവദിച്ചുവെങ്കിലും ജില്ലാ ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പിന്റെ അനാസ്ഥമൂലം ഇതുവരെ നവീകരണ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ നടന്നിട്ടില്ല.
