Le Rouergue (Roergue [ruˈeɾɣe] en occitan rouergat) est une ancienne province du Midi de la France correspondant approximativement à l'actuel département de l'Aveyron. Après avoir fait partie du comté de Toulouse, il fut rattaché à la Guyenne avant d'en être détaché lors de la formation de la province de Haute-Guyenne en 1779.

It is bounded on the north by Auvergne, on the south and southwest by Languedoc, on the east by Gévaudan and on the west by Quercy.
