Kowyn Pass is situated in Mpumalanga province, on the R533 road between Graskop and Bosbokrand, South Africa. The pass was completed on 3 October 1959. It descends from an altitude of 1,448 metres above sea level near Graskop, to 500 metres at Bosbokrand, which implies an average slope of 1:14.

Die Kowynspas is 'n bergpas in Mpumalanga, Suid-Afrika en dra die R533-streeksroete oor die Drakensberg. Die pas is vernoem na Kowyn, 'n Sothohoofman wat in die nabyheid gewoon het. Die pas is op 3 Oktober 1959 geopen. Dit begin net buite Graskop op 'n hoogte van 1 448 m en val dan 500 m teen 'n helling van 1:14 tot by Bosbokrand.
