Der Hohe Dom St. Martin zu Mainz, kurz Mainzer Dom, ist die Kathedrale (Bischofskirche) der römisch-katholischen Diözese Mainz und steht unter dem Patrozinium des heiligen Martin von Tours. Der Ostchor ist dem Hl. Stephan gewidmet. Der zu den Kaiserdomen zählende Bau ist in seiner heutigen Form eine dreischiffige romanische Pfeilerbasilika, die in ihren Anbauten sowohl romanische als auch gotische und barocke Elemente aufweist.

Son saint patron est Martin de Tours, l'un des Pères de l'Église. Son chœur est dédié à saint Étienne, premier martyr chrétien. La base de sa construction est une « basilique à colonnes » d'architecture romane possédant trois nefs (fin du Xe siècle), à laquelle ont été ajoutés par la suite des éléments gothiques et baroques (XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles). Elle a fêté son millénaire en 2009.
