Die Nikolaikirche (offiziell: Stadt- und Pfarrkirche St. Nikolai) ist die älteste und größte Kirche in der Innenstadt von Leipzig sowie neben der Thomaskirche die bekannteste Kirche der Stadt. Der nach dem heiligen Nikolaus benannte Sakralbau ist Hauptkirche der evangelisch-lutherischen St.-Nikolai-Kirchengemeinde Leipzig. Die Umgestaltung und Ausstattung des Innenraumes der Nikolaikirche stellt eine bedeutende Schöpfung des Klassizismus dar.

The St. Nicholas Church (German: Nikolaikirche) is one of the major churches of central Leipzig, Germany (in Leipzig's district Mitte). Construction started in Romanesque style in 1165, but in the 16th century, the church was turned into a Gothic hall church. Baroque elements like the tower were added in the 18th century.

L'église Saint-Nicolas (Nikolaikirche) est l'église la plus grande de Leipzig. Elle a été en 1989 le théâtre des manifestations du lundi, avant la chute du mur de Berlin. Elle a été aussi une des églises dont Jean-Sébastien Bach a été le cantor, entre 1723 et 1750, date de sa mort.
