Richmond is a town in the central Karoo region of the Northern Cape Province, South Africa. It is situated on the main N1 route.
Richmond is een dorp gelegen in de gemeente Ubuntu in de centrale Karoo in de Zuid-Afrikaanse provincie Noord-Kaap. Het ligt aan de nationale weg N1. Het plaatsje is bekend om zijn merinoschapenboerderijen en paardenfokkerijen. Richmond beschikt over een van de slechts twee paardenmuseums ter wereld. Sinds een aantal jaren staat Richmond ook bekend als "Boekenstad" met een jaarlijks boekenfestival.
