Begunjščica is a ridge mountain in the Karawanks. It rises from the western Smokuč mountain pasture (Slovene: Smokuška planina) to St. Anne (Sv. Ana) on its eastern side. The mountain has three main peaks, the highest being Big Peak (Veliki vrh, 2,060 metres or 6,760 feet). The western Middle Peak (Srednji vrh) lies a little lower, and the lowest is Begunje Mount Vrtača (Begunjska Vrtača, 1,997 m or 6,552 ft). Its southern slopes rise over the Draga Valley. The ascent of the mountain is relatively easy and possible throughout the year. In the winter and early spring conditions are favourable for ski touring.
Le Begunjščica est un sommet des Alpes, à 2 060 m, dans les Karavanke, en Slovénie. Il s'élève depuis l'alpage occidental de Smokuč (slovène : Smokuška planina) jusqu'à Sainte-Anne (Sveti Ana) sur son côté oriental. La montagne compte en fait trois cimes principales, la plus élevée étant le Grand Pic (Veliki vrh, culminant à 2 060 mètres) ; le pic occidental (Srednji vrh, 1 979 m) se trouve un peu plus bas, et le pic oriental est Begunje Vrtača (Begunjska Vrtača, 1 993 m). Les pentes méridionales s'élèvent au-dessus de la vallée de la Draga. L'ascension de la montagne est relativement facile et possible tout au long de l'année. En hiver et au début du printemps, les conditions sont favorables au ski de randonnée.
Il Monte Begunjščica (in sloveno: Begunjščica) con 2.050 m s.l.m. è una cima delle Caravanche Occidentali, situata nel comune di Radovljica nell'Alta Carniola in Slovenia.
Begunjščica je razpotegnjena grebenska gora v Karavankah. Razteza se od Smokuške planine na zahodu do Sv. Ane na Ljubelju, na vzhodu. Sam greben ima več vrhov. Najvišji je srednji Veliki vrh (2060 m), zahodni Srednji vrh je nekoliko nižji, najnižja pa je vzhodna Begunjska Vrtača (1997 m). Južna pobočja se dvigajo nad dolino Drage severno od Begunj. Severno ostenje pada na Zelenico in je na več krajih prekinjeno z melišči in žlebovi.
Begunjščica – szczyt w paśmie Karawanki w Alpach. Leży w północnej Słowenii blisko granicy z Austrią. Na zachód od szczytu leżą Triglav, Hochstuhl, Vrtača i Košuta, na wschodzie Alpy Kamnickie, a na południe Kotlina Lublańska, gdzie leży stolica Słowenii.
