Bad Urach (bis 1983 Urach) ist eine Stadt in der Schwäbischen Alb im Tal der Erms, im Landkreis Reutlingen in Baden-Württemberg. Sie gehört zur Region Neckar-Alb und zur Randzone der europäischen Metropolregion Stuttgart. Die Stadt ist staatlich anerkannter Luftkurort und Heilbad. Bekannt ist sie auch wegen des Uracher Wasserfalls und des alle zwei Jahre stattfindenden Schäferlaufs. Bad Urach ist mit seiner gesamten Gemarkung Teil des Biosphärengebiets Schwäbische Alb und des UNESCO Geoparks Schwäbische Alb.
