Euphemistisch als Berlin-Marzahn Rastplatz bezeichnete das NS-Regime ein Zwangslager, in das zwischen 1936 und 1943 ca. 1200 „Zigeuner“ in Berlin-Marzahn eingewiesen wurden. Die erste Verhaftungswelle mit ca. 600 Männern, Frauen und Kindern fand am 16. Juli 1936 statt. Eine verbreitete Bezeichnung lautete Zigeunerrastplatz Marzahn. Das Lager diente der „Konzentration“, d. h. der räumlich leichteren Kontrolle sowie der Selektion nach rasseideologischen Kriterien, der Ausbeutung durch Zwangsarbeit und der Vorbereitung der Deportation in Konzentrationslager und in das Vernichtungslager Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Berlin-Marzahn Rastplatz était le nom d'un centre de détention mis en place en 1936 par le régime nazi au quartier de Marzahn dans la banlieue est de Berlin. C'est là que les autorités jusqu'à la dissolution du camp en 1943 ont retenu près de 1 200 Roms (« Tsiganes ») en otage. Les détenus ont été sélectionnés sur la base de critères racistes, exploités de travaux forcés et enfin préparés pour leur déportation aux camps d'extermination lors du Porajmos.
