Cape Town International Airport (IATA: CPT, ICAO: FACT) is the primary international airport serving the city of Cape Town, and is the second-busiest airport in South Africa and fifth-busiest in Africa. Located approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) from the city center, the airport was opened in 1954 to replace Cape Town's previous airport, Wingfield Aerodrome. Cape Town International Airport is the only airport in the Cape Town metropolitan area that offers scheduled passenger services. The airport has domestic and international terminals, linked by a common central terminal.

Die Kaapstad Internasionale Lughawe (IATA: CPT, ICAO: FACT) is die tweede grootste lughawe in Suid-Afrika na Johannesburg se O.R. Tambo Internasionale Lughawe en lê sowat 22 kilometer oos van die middestad. Die lughawe is in 1955 as die "DF Malan Lughawe" geopen en word later in die negentiger jare na Cape Town International Airport (CTIA) herdoop. Die volume van lugverkeer het sedert die jaar 1994 aansienlik toegeneem. Tans is daar jaarliks sowat 8,3 miljoen passasiers (2007) wat in Kaapstad aankom of vertrek. Daar word verwag dat die passasiersgetalle tot by die jaar 2015 tot 14 miljoen sal styg.
