Trinity-St. Paul's Episcopal Church in New Rochelle in Westchester County, New York was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. It is located at the northwest corner of Huguenot Street (also known as the Boston Post Road) and Division Street. This church represents the body of the majority group of New Rochelle's founding Huguenot French Calvinistic congregation that conformed to the liturgy of the established Church of England in June 1709. The Thomas Paine Monument is a bronze sculpture located in New Rochelle, New York, dedicated to perpetuating the legacy of Founding Father Thomas Paine. The monument stands on North Avenue at the entrance to Paine Avenue, between the Thomas Paine National Historical Association to the north and the property of the Huguenot and Historical Association of New Rochelle to the south. This is the oldest extant memorial to Thomas Paine. The original monument erected in 1839 consisted of just a tapered marble pedestal and decorative cap. A bronze bust of Paine was later added in 1899.

The rocky shoreline supports a marine rocky intertidal community comprising one of the most southerly occurrences of this community type on the North Atlantic Coastline.

Mahlstedt's Ice Pond, commonly referred to as Huguenot Lake, is a man-made lake located in central New Rochelle in Westchester County, New York. Constructed in 1885, the lake is impounded by the Mahlstedt Reservoir Dam on a tributary of Pine Brook. The dam is of earthen construction and rock fill, with a height of 15 feet (4.6 m) and a length of 7,000 feet (2,100 m). It has a normal surface area of 14 ares (15,000 sq ft), a capacity of 70 acre-feet (86,000 m3), and normal storage of 56 acre-feet (69,000 m3).
Starin's Glen Island was a summer resort in the community of New Rochelle in Westchester County, New York, developed by shipping magnate and U.S. Congressman John H. Starin in the late 1800s. Starin's resort, referred to as "America's pleasure grounds" was the first theme park in the country. The park's original design exhibited the five cultures of the western world on individual islands linked together with piers and causeways. Leland Castle (also known as Castle View) is a building in New Rochelle, New York. It was constructed during the years in 1855 - 1859 in the Gothic Revival style, and was the country residence of Simeon Leland, a wealthy New York City hotel proprietor. Leland began to assemble an estate as early as 1848, and in 1855, began the erection of this palatial 60-room mansion. The home was designed by New York City architect William Thomas Beers. A north and south wing were added to the castle in 1899 and 1902 respectively.

The island is home to the endangered Kemp's ridley sea turtle, and birds such as osprey and least terns. Davids Island also supports valuable wetlands, rare rocky intertidal areas, and sandy beaches. The waters surrounding the island are home to winter flounder, Atlantic herring, and Atlantic silverside.

Constructed in 1908, the reservoir is impounded by the New Rochelle "Reservoir 3 dam" on the Hutchinson River. The dam is of earthen construction, with a height of 30 feet and a length of 450 feet. It has an area of about 30 acres, and a capacity of about 128,000,000 gallons. Maximum discharge is 1815 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 498 acre feet. Normal storage is 220 acre feet. It drains an area of 2.85 square miles. The reservoir is currently owned by the Westchester County Dept Of Parks and Recreation.
Neptune Island is an island in Long Island Sound and part of the City of New Rochelle, New York. The island is connected to the mainland by stone causeway over which Neptune Road passes. A dam at the east end of the peninsula creates a small pond, while its west shore edges the Neptune Basin inlet.
