Skala (Greek: Σκάλα) is a village located in the municipality of Oichalia, Messenia, Peloponnese in Greece. It is situated in the interior of the Messenia Plain, around 21 km north of Kalamata and at an altitude of around 90 meters.
Το χωριό Κόκλας (κατ' άλλους "το Κόκλα" από το "χάνι του Κόκλα") ανήκει στο Δήμο Οιχαλίας Μεσσηνίας και είναι ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα σε έκταση και πληθυσμό χωριά του συγκεκριμένου Δήμου. Ο μόνιμος πληθυσμός ανέρχεται περίπου στα 245 άτομα.
Το Κάστρο του Μίλα είναι ένα μεσαιωνικό οχυρό χτισμένο κοντά στο χωριό Μίλα Μεσσηνίας Το κάστρο απέχει 7 χιλιόμετρα από τον Μελιγαλά. Σήμερα διασώζονται ερείπια του , ήταν μικρό οχυρό και η χρήση του ήταν για τον έλεγχο του δημόσιου δρόμου και της περιοχής.
Ο Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός Ζευγολατιού είναι σιδηροδρομικός σταθμός στο Ζευγολατιό Μεσσηνίας. Ο σταθμός άνοιξε το 1892 και έκλεισε για τα περισσότερα τρένα το 2010. Προς το παρόν, εξυπηρετείται από τρένα εκδρομικής λειτουργίας, ενώ παραμένει ανενεργός για άλλα δρομολόγια.
Η Οιχαλία είναι οικισμός της Περιφερειακής Ενότητας Μεσσηνίας, στην Περιφέρεια Πελοποννήσου. Διοικητικά ανήκει στην Κοινότητα Οιχαλίας, εντάσσεται στη Δημοτική Ενότητα Οιχαλίας, και υπάγεται στο Δήμο Οιχαλίας.
Oechalia or Oichalia (Ancient Greek: Οἰχαλία) was a town in ancient Messenia, in the plain of Stenyclerus. It was in ruins in the time of Epaminondas, and its position was a matter of dispute in later times. Strabo identified it with Andania, the ancient residence of the Messenian kings, and Pausanias with Carnasium, which was only 8 stadia distant from Andania, and upon the river Charadrus. Carnasium, in the time of Pausanias, was the name given to a grove of cypresses, in which were statues of Apollo Carneius, of Hermes Criophorus, and of Persephone. It was here that the mystic rites of the great goddesses were celebrated, and that the urn was preserved containing the bones of Eurytus, the son of Melaneus.
Andania (Greek: Ανδανία) is a former municipality in Messenia, Peloponnese, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform, it has been a municipal unit of the municipality of Oichalia. The municipal unit has an area of 88.694 km2. Population 1,820 (2021). The seat of the municipality was in Diavolitsi.
Kentriko (Greek: Κεντρικό [kentrikoˈ]) is a village in the municipal unit of Andania in the municipality of Oichalia of the Regional Unit of Messenia located in the Region of Peloponnese, according to the administrative division of Greece as formed by the Kallikratis Plan 2011 local government reform program. The official village name is "Kentrikon" (Greek: Κεντρικόν [kentrikoˈn]). The seat of the municipality is Meligalas and it belongs to the geographical division of Peloponnese. Until 2010, Kentriko belonged to the Local District of Kentriko, of the former Andania Municipality of Messenia Prefecture.
Bassae (Latin: Bassae, Ancient Greek: Βάσσαι – Bassai, meaning "little vale in the rocks") is an archaeological site in Oichalia, a municipality in the northeastern part of Messenia, Greece. In classical antiquity, it was part of Arcadia. Bassae lies near the village of Skliros, northeast of Figaleia, south of Andritsaina and west of Megalopolis. It is famous for the well-preserved mid- to late-5th century BC Temple of Apollo Epicurius.
Meligalas (Greek: Μελιγαλάς) is a town and former municipality in Messenia, Peloponnese, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Oichalia, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 78.193 km2. Population 2,785 (2021).

Dorio (Greek: Δώριο) is a village and a former municipality in Messenia, Peloponnese, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Oichalia, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 102.832 km2. The population of the municipal unit is 1,839, and of the village alone 765 (2021 census). Dorio is 170 metres (560 ft) above sea level. The small settlement of Ano Dorio is nearby. Dorio has been mentioned in Homer's Iliad, and by Strabo and Pausanias. Homer recounts a myth that Dorio was the location of a music competition between Thamyris and the Muses.
Oichalia (Greek: Οιχαλία) is a village and a municipality in Messenia, Greece. The seat of the municipality is in Meligalas. Oichalia is known for its rich expanse of olive trees and fig orchards. At its height the village boasted several cafes, a bustling farmer's market, and a popular open-air cinema run by the Limberopoulos family. Other families, such as the Hantzopoulos and Karbaliotis clans, the former a cobbler and the latter a butcher, helped make Oichalia the destination of choice for Messinians in need of footwear and quality meats.
Skliros (Greek: Σκληρός) is a village in the municipality of Oichalia, Messenia, southern Greece. In its district lies the Temple of Apollo at Bassae. It is 5 km (3.1 mi) south of Andritsaina, 4 km (2.5 mi) northwest of Kakaletri and 20 km (12 mi) west of Megalopoli.
Agios Sostis is a small village located at the borders of Arcadia, Elis and Messenia regional units, in southern Greece. It is part of the municipality Oichalia in Messenia. It lies at an altitude of 850 m (2,790 ft) measured at the bridge and 900 m (3,000 ft) measured at the upper part of the village. Agios Sostis' history is closely related to the historical region of Gorena – the ancient city of Lykoa according to archaeologists - situated in the northwestern part of Mount Lykaion and next to the settlement of Tsouraki (a Turkish word for a small hut). Agios Sostis is mostly known for the church of Saint John (Agios Ioannis or Ayannis in Greek). The church is built on the ruins of a Byzantine monastery that the Franks destroyed in the 14th century. Excavations began after a vision seen by Yannis Constantopoulos. During these excavations, 60 cells, a golden tong, a chalice and a limestone cross were found. The neighboring villages contributed to the construction of the church and established an annual feast held at the August 29, attracting many visitors from nearby villages.
Ano Dorio (Greek: Άνω Δώριο) is a mountain-top village in Messenia, Greece. Ano Dorio is close to the larger village of Dorio, and has a population of 114 (2021 census). Since the 2011 local government reform, it is a community within the municipality Oichalia. Ano Dorio used to be known as, and is still referred to by many locals as, Ano Soulima (Greek: Άνω Σουλιμά, which comes from local "Sull i madh", meaning, "Taller Suli") - named after the Souliotes who settled there from northern Greece.

Kato Melpeia (Greek: Κάτω Μέλπεια) is a village and a community located in the municipal unit of Andania in Messenia, Greece. The community, which includes the small settlement of Vrachos, has a population of 188 (2021 census).
Loutro (Greek, Modern: Λουτρό) is a small town in the municipality of Oichalia, Messenia, Peloponnese, Southern Greece. There is a small church in the east side of the town and a large square where children play soccer and hide-and-seek. Five other small towns surround Loutro: Filia, Meligalas, Malta, Meropi, and Oichalia.
Psari (Greek: Ψάρι) is a village in Messenia, Greece. Since 2011, it is part of the municipality of Oichalia according to the Kallikratis program, while previously it was part of the municipality of Dorio. According to the 2021 census, it has a population of 227.
Meropi (Greek: Μερόπη) is a village and a community in the municipality of Oichalia, in Messenia, Greece. It is located in the plains of northern Messenia, west of the Taygetus mountains. It is near a major highway linking Kalamata and Corinth, the Greek National Road 7. It is 1.5 km south of Oichalia, 3.5 km northeast of Meligalas, 21 km southwest of Megalopoli and 26 km north of Kalamata. In 2021 its population was 484 for the community, which consists of the villages Meropi, Allagi and Mousta.

Η Ανθούσα είναι χωριό και έδρα ομώνυμης τοπικής κοινότητας, της δημοτικής ενότητας (τέως δήμου) Μελιγαλά, του δήμου Οιχαλίας, της περιφερειακής ενότητας (τέως νομού) Μεσσηνίας, στην περιφέρεια Πελοποννήσου, σύμφωνα με το πρόγραμμα Καλλικράτης Πριν το σχέδιο Καποδίστριας και το πρόγραμμα Καλλικράτης, ανήκε στην επαρχία Μεσσήνης του νομού Μεσσηνίας, στο γεωγραφικό διαμέρισμα Πελοποννήσου.
Το Δασοχώρι (πρώην Λυκούρεσι) είναι χωριό του Δήμου Οιχαλίας, στο Νομό Μεσσηνίας. Σύμφωνα με τα στοιχεία της Απογραφής του 2011, ο πληθυσμός του ανέρχεται σε 44 μόνιμους κατοίκους.
Ο Δεσύλλας (ή κάποιες φορές και Δεσύλλα) είναι χωριό του Νομού Μεσσηνίας, που ανήκει στο Δήμο Οιχαλίας. Βρίσκεται στην βόρεια πλευρά του νομού, στα σύνορα Μεσσηνιας - Αρκαδιας. Το χωριό βρισκόταν μέχρι και την Ελληνική Επανάσταση του 1821 στη τοποθεσία του ξωκκλησίου των Αγίων Θεοδώρων. Η τωρινή του τοποθεσία είναι χαμηλότερα και με βόρειο όριο του οικισμού τη σιδηροδρομική γραμμή. Ο Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός του χωριού κάηκε με τις φωτιές του 2007. Στο χωριό δραστηριοποιείται απο το 2022 η ομάδα #αγαπάμεΔεσύλλα με πλούσια εθελοντική δράση.
Ο Κατσαρός (ή το Κατσαρού) είναι χωριό του δήμου Οιχαλίας στον νομό Μεσσηνίας. Σύμφωνα με τα στοιχεία της απογραφής του 2021 ο πληθυσμός του ανέρχεται στους 272 κατοίκους.
Ο Χαλκιάς είναι ορεινός οικισμός του νομού Μεσσηνίας χτισμένος σε υψόμετρο 660 μέτρων. Βρίσκεται στις νότιες πλαγιές του Τετραζίου όρους σε απόσταση 60 χιλιομέτρων ΒΔ της Καλαμάτας. Διοικητικά ανήκει στον δήμο Δωρίου και ο πληθυσμός του σύμφωνα με την απογραφή του 2001 είναι 108 κάτοικοι.
