The Olympic Stadium of Athens "Spyros Louis" (Greek: Ολυμπιακό Στάδιο Αθηνών "Σπύρος Λούης", Olympiakó Stádio Athinón "Spýros Loúis") is a sports stadium in Marousi, in the north section of Athens, Greece. With a total capacity of 75,000, it is the largest sports venue in Greece. It is a part of the Athens Olympic Sports Complex (OAKA) and is named after the first modern Olympic marathon gold medalist in 1896, Spyros Louis. The stadium served as the main stadium during the 2004 Summer Olympics and the 2004 Summer Paralympics, including the opening and closing ceremonies.It is the current home ground of Panathinaikos F.C.

The centre consists of a main stadium, known as The Main Court, seating 8,600 fans - though only 6,000 seats were made publicly available during the 2004 Summer Olympics and 2004 Summer Paralympics- two semifinal courts, seating 4,300 spectators - though only 3,200 seats were made publicly available during the Olympics - and thirteen side courts, seating 200 observers each.
Drossinis Museum is in the center of Kifisia, a northern suburb of Athens, and it is housed in “Amaryllis” villa, where Georgios Drossinis lived in his last years and which is named after a central character of one of his earliest and most popular works. The museum was founded in 1997 with the aim to preserve and promote Drossinis’ (1859-1951) multidimensional work. The Nikos Galis (since 2016) Olympic Indoor Hall of O.A.C.A. is a part of the Spyros Louis Olympic Athletic Center of Athens (Greek: O.A.K.A. «Σπύρος Λούης»), was completed in 1994 and is the largest indoor venue in Greece. It was used for sporting events at the 2004 Summer Olympics. The venue is located in Marousi, in the northern section of Athens. During its construction, it was considered to be one of the biggest and most modern indoor sports arenas in all of Europe.

Marousi or Maroussi (Greek: Μαρούσι), also known as Amarousio (Αμαρούσιο), is a city and a suburb in the northeastern part of the Athens urban area, Greece. Marousi dates back to the era of the ancient Athenian Republic; its ancient name was Athmonon (Ἄθμονον) and it represented one of the 10 Athenian sub-cities. The area held a main ancient temple, where Amarysia Artemis, the goddess of hunting, was adored. Consequently the city's modern name derives from that of the goddess, Amarysia, which denotes the origin of the worship back in Amarynthos, Euboea. Its mayor is Theodoros Ampatzoglou, re-elected in 2023.

It has distinctive twin roofs, covering the stands on each side.

The first is a station of Line 1 of the Athens Metro, and the second is a Athens Suburban Railway (suburban rail) station. It takes its name from the nearby Byzantine church of Παναγία Νεραντζιώτισσα (Panagía Nerantziótissa), which was itself named for the abundance of bitter orange trees in the area. The station is near The Mall Athens, a large American-style shopping mall. It is also close to the Athens Olympic Sports Complex.

Ο Περισσός είναι συνοικία της οποίας ένα πολύ μικρό τμήμα ανήκει στο Δήμο Αθηναίων και το υπόλοιπο στο Δήμο Νέας Ιωνίας. Ο Περισσός ήταν βιομηχανική περιοχή στο παρελθόν και εξακολουθούν να διατηρούνται στην περιοχή πολλά παλιά εργοστασιακά κτίρια. Ένα μέρος τους στις μέρες μας αναπλάθεται και χρησιμοποιείται ως κτίρια γραφείων ή εμπορικών καταστημάτων. Στην περιοχή του Περισσού βρίσκονται τα γραφεία του ΚΚΕ και λίγο δυτικότερα, στα σύνορα με την Νέα Φιλαδέλφεια, το παλιό γήπεδο της Αθλητικής Ένωσης Κωνσταντινουπόλεως. Στο κέντρο του Περισσού βρίσκεται ο Ιερός Ναός της Αγίας Αναστασίας της Φαρμακολυτρίας που χτίστηκε από τους Μικρασιάτες κατοίκους της περιοχής, σε ανάμνηση του ομώνυμου ναού που υπήρχε στο Χορόσκιοϊ της Μικράς Ασίας πριν από τη Μικρασιατική Καταστροφή. Από τον Περισσό διέρχεται η γραμμή 1 του μετρό και η περιοχή εξυπηρετείται από τον ομώνυμο σταθμό. Το τμήμα το οποίο ανήκει στο Δήμο Αθηναίων είναι εκείνο το οποίο περικλείεται ανάμεσα στις οδούς Τάκη Σινοπούλου και Γάγγρας.

It opened on 24 July 2004 and served as the original northern terminus for four days, until Doukissis Plakentias opened. The eastbound platform has a mural by Rena Papaspirou, titled Images Through Matter (2010). It serves the suburb of Chalandri.

Η Καλογρέζα είναι συνοικία του δήμου Νέας Ιωνίας, στα σύνορα με το δήμο Ηρακλείου Αττικής και το δήμο Αμαρουσίου. Καταλαμβάνει θέση παλαιάς ακατοίκητης τοποθεσίας που ήταν μετόχι της Μονής του Αγίου Ανδρέου, έχει συνδέσει έντονα το όνομα και την ιστορία της με την γειτονική Αλσούπολη επίσης συνοικία της Νέας Ιωνίας.

Pentele (Ancient Greek: Πεντέλη) was a deme of ancient Attica, situated at the north-eastern extremity of the Athenian plain, at the marble quarries of Mount Brilessus, which was called Mount Pentelicus from this place. The fact of Pentele being a deme rests upon the authority of Stephanus of Byzantium alone, and has not yet been confirmed by inscriptions.

The museum is housed in the headquarters of the Foundation, which was formed in 1981, with the aim of assembling an as complete as possible collection of paintings representing all aspects of his work, to make a detailed inventory of the paintings, conserver them, organize exhibitions in the museum and participate in exhibitions organized by other institutions. There are exhibition rooms in the first floor and in the attic.

Η συνοικία Αγία Φιλοθέη Αμαρουσίου πήρε το όνομά της από το ιστορικό της μνημείο «Μετόχι Καλογρέζας», που είχε ιδρύσει η Αγία Φιλοθέη των Αθηνών. Έως το 2008 ονομαζόταν Νέα Φιλοθέη και παλαιότερα αποτελούσε μέρος του Δήμου Χαλανδρίου και πριν το 1933 του Δήμου Αθηναίων. Από Νέα Φιλοθέη μετονομάστηκε σε Αγία Φιλοθέη επί δημαρχίας Γεωργίου Πατούλη το 2008, για ιστορικούς λόγους διότι στην περιοχή ασκήτευε και ετάφη η Αγία Φιλοθέη.
Η Αλσούπολη είναι γνωστή συνοικία της Νέας Ιωνίας στα όρια με το Μαρούσι και την Φιλοθέη. Στην περιοχή λειτουργεί Δημοτικό σχολείο Διαπολιτισμικής Εκπαίδευσης.
Ο Δήμος Κηφισιάς είναι δήμος του Βόρειου Τομέα Αθηνών της Περιφέρειας Αττικής που συστάθηκε με το πρόγραμμα Καλλικράτης από την συνένωση των προϋπαρχόντων δήμων Κηφισιάς, Νέας Ερυθραίας και Εκάλης. Η έκταση του νέου δήμου είναι 34.03 τ.χλμ και ο πληθυσμός του 72.860 κάτοικοι, σύμφωνα με την απογραφή του 2021. Έδρα του είναι η Κηφισιά.

Η Βίλα Καζούλη είναι έπαυλη η οποία βρίσκεται στη νότια είσοδο της Κηφισιάς. Η έπαυλη κτίστηκε στα τέλη του 19ου αιώνα σε εκλεκτικιστικό ρυθμό από τον Αιγυπτιώτη επιχειρηματία Νίκο Καζούλη. Σήμερα η Βίλα είναι ιδιοκτησία του δημοσίου και στεγάζει το Πράσινο Ταμείο.
Η Ινέπολη αποτελεί μικρή συνοικία της Νέας Ιωνίας πολύ κοντά στον Σταθμό Πευκακίων (Γραμμή 1 Μετρό Αθήνας) με κατοίκους που κατάγονται από την ομώνυμη πόλη της Μικράς Ασίας (τούρκικα Ινέμπολου, αρχαία Αβώνου τείχος μεταγενέστερα Ιωνόπολις, πόλη που ιδρύθηκε από Ίωνες).
Τα Νεόκτιστα Νεάπολης ή Νεάπολη Νέας Ιωνίας είναι συνοικία στα ΝΑ της Νέας Ιωνίας νότια από την Καλογρέζα στα όρια των Δήμων Νέας Ιωνίας, Γαλατσίου και Φιλοθέης, βρίσκεται στην συμβολή σημαντικών συγκοινωνιακών κόμβων όπως η Λεωφόρος Βεΐκου και η Λεωφόρος Καποδιστρίου.
The Panagia Marmariotissa (Greek: Παναγία Μαρμαριώτισσα) is a church located in Chalandri. The temple was originally a funerary monument from Roman times but was later converted into a church. Today it is located at the junction of Panagia Marmariotissis and Sofoklis Venizelou streets, behind the new church of the same name. The name "Marmariotissa" refers to the marble from which the monument is constructed.
Η Πλατεία Αναλήψεως είναι η κεντρική πλατεία του Δήμου Βριλησσίων, η οποία κατασκευάστηκε πέριξ του ομώνυμου Ιερού Ναού κατά την περίοδο που εφαρμόστηκε το σχέδιο πόλεως. Έχει ταυτιστεί με την οικιστική, αλλά και εμπορική ανάπτυξη της περιοχής, της οποίας αποτελεί κεντρικό χώρο εστίασης. Η πλατεία ανακατασκευάστηκε πλήρως στις αρχές του 2006 με σύγχρονα φωτοβολταϊκά μέσα, ενώ το έργο συμπληρώθηκε από την πεζοδρόμηση τμημάτων πέριξ του ελεύθερου χώρου του ναού, επεκτείνοντας την έκτασή της στα 6.600 μ2.
Ο Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός Χαλανδρίου ήταν σταθμός των Σιδηροδρόμων Πειραιώς - Αθηνών - Πελοποννήσου, επί της σιδηροδρομικής γραμμής Λαυρίου - Αγίων Αναργύρων, στη χιλιομετρική θέση 52,999 από το σταθμό Λαυρίου. Βρισκόταν στο Χαλάνδρι και πήρε το όνομά του από την κοινότητα (σήμερα δήμο) που εξυπηρετούσε. Εγκαινιάστηκε το 1885 και έκλεισε το 1957, μαζί με τη γραμμή Λαυρίου - Αγίων Αναργύρων. Το κτήριο του σταθμού σώζεται και χρησιμοποιείται σήμερα ως η παιδική βιβλιοθήκη του Δήμου Χαλανδρίου "Μίμης Βασιλόπουλος", στη συμβολή Παλαιολόγου και Παπαρρηγόπουλου.
