Limassol Salt Lake (Greek: Αλυκή Λεμεσού; also known as Akrotiri Salt Lake, Greek: Αλυκή Ακρωτηρίου) is the largest inland body of water on the island of Cyprus. It is located in Akrotiri and Dhekelia, administered as a Sovereign Base Area; specifically in the Western Sovereign Base Area.

Aetokremnos is a rock shelter near Limassol on the southern coast of Cyprus. It is widely considered to host some of the oldest evidence of human habitation of Cyprus, dating to around 12,000 years ago. It is situated on a steep cliff site c. 40 m (131.23 ft) above the Mediterranean sea. The name means "Cliff of the eagles" in Greek. Around 40 m2 (430.56 sq ft) have been excavated and out of the four layers documented, the third is sterile.

Dasaki Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Achna, Akrotiri and Dhekelia, Cyprus. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Ethnikos Achna FC. The stadium holds 5,422 people and was built in 1976.
Cape Gata (Greek: Κάβο Γάτα "cat cape", Turkish: Doğan Burnu "falcon cape") is the south-eastern cape of the Akrotiri Peninsula on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. It is located within the British Sovereign Base Areas, and is the southernmost point of the island. However, the Sovereign Base Areas are not part of the Republic of Cyprus or the European Union, whose southernmost point lies nearby at the border between the two (34° 39’ N).

It is the larger of the two British military bases on the island, and it is also the location of Alexander Barracks, which is home to the 2nd Battalion, The Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment. In Autumn 2017, the 2nd Battalion Royal Anglian Regiment deployed to Dhekelia replacing 2nd Battalion, The Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment.

The areas, which include British military bases and installations that were formerly part of the Crown colony of Cyprus, were retained by the British under the 1960 treaty of independence signed by the United Kingdom, Greece, Turkey and representatives from the Greek and Turkish Cypriot communities. The territory serves as a station for signals intelligence and is thereby part of the United Kingdom's surveillance-gathering work in the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
