Tong Fuk (Chinese: 塘福, formerly 塘㙏) is a village and an area on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. It is a popular place for holiday recreation. Tong Fuk Beach, to the south of the village, is a popular local attraction alongside the other beaches of South Lantau.
Tai O (Chinese: 大澳; Jyutping: daai6 ou3; Cantonese Yale: Daaih’Ou) is a fishing town, partly located on an island of the same name, on the western side of Lantau Island in Hong Kong. The village name means large inlet, referring to outlet for the waterways (Tai O Creek and Tai O River) merges as it moves through Tai O.
Christian Zheng Sheng College was a private school in Hong Kong established by the Christian Zheng Sheng Association (ZSA). Its founder and principal is Alman Chan Siu Cheuk. The school aims to correct problematic students with drug addiction and other problems using life education.

Iron Man Experience (Traditional Chinese: 鐵甲奇俠飛行之旅) is a 3-D motion simulator attraction in Tomorrowland at Hong Kong Disneyland, which opened on 11 January 2017 (originally scheduled for 2016). The attraction is based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe character Iron Man, becoming the first Disney attraction to be based on a Marvel property. The attraction is located at the park's Tomorrowland section, in an area named "Stark Expo", adjacent to Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters.
Pak Mong (Chinese: 白芒; lit. 'white miscanthus') is a village on Lantau Island, Hong Kong, located near Tai Ho Wan, a bay on the northern shore of Lantau Island, and northeast of Tung Chung.
Kau Nga Ling (Chinese: 狗牙嶺; lit. 'Dog Teeth Range'), is a series of precipitous mountains on Lantau Island, Hong Kong, with a height of 539 metres (1,768 ft) above sea level. It is one of 16 "high-risk" hiking locations identified by the local government. Kau Nga Ling is inside Lantau South Country Park, which was created in 1978.
Shek Pik Prison (Chinese: 石壁監獄) is a prison in Hong Kong, located at 47 Shek Pik Reservoir Road, Shek Pik, Lantau Island. It was built in 1984, and is managed by the Hong Kong Correctional Services. The prison is used to contain prisoners with medium to long sentences, as well as those sentenced to life imprisonment.

The village is below Fa Peng Teng (Fa Peng Peak), in Chinese meaning flower flask because of the rock formation that’s shaped like a flower flask. Climbing this via the Fa Peng Trail provides one of the best views of the Lantau Link bridges.

Penny's Bay or Chok Ko Wan (Chinese: 竹篙灣) is a bay in north-eastern Lantau Island, and had been a port since the Ming dynasty. The bay has since been reclaimed and is the site of the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, which consists of the Hong Kong Disneyland theme park, Disneyland Hotel, and Disney's Hollywood Hotel, and the Inspiration Lake. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it became home to Penny's Bay Community Isolation Facility. It is connected by a highway and a rail connection on the MTR Disneyland Resort line to Sunny Bay station.

Sunny Bay (Chinese: 欣澳; Cantonese Yale: Yān ou) is an MTR station in Yam O. It is between Tung Chung and Tsing Yi stations. The station is an interchange station between the Tung Chung line and the Disneyland Resort line to Hong Kong Disneyland. The station was originally to be named Yam O (陰澳); however, the name was ultimately replaced, likely because of its linguistically negative connotations.Services to the station commenced on 1 June 2005. The transfer facilities to the Disneyland Resort line opened 2 months later (1 August 2005) that year. The livery of the station is slate grey.
Tung Chung (Chinese: 東涌) is a station on the Tung Chung line of the MTR rapid transport system in Hong Kong. As the western termini of the Tung Chung line, it is also a transfer point of those wishing to use the Ngong Ping Cable Car and by bus to travel to the rest of Lantau Island. As with all other MTR stations, Tung Chung has a unique colour scheme used throughout the station, in this case lavender.
Tung Chung Fort is a fort located near Tung Chung, on Lantau Island, in Hong Kong. Close to Tung Chung Road, the fort is surrounded by the villages of Sheung Ling Pei (上嶺皮) and Ha Ling Pei (下嶺皮). It has a companion Tung Chung Battery on the coast.

The Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is a resort built and owned by Hong Kong International Theme Parks Limited, a joint venture of the Government of Hong Kong and The Walt Disney Company in Hong Kong on reclaimed land beside Penny's Bay, at the northeastern tip of Lantau Island, approximately two kilometres (1.2 mi) from Discovery Bay. It is the second Disney Resort in Asia, and the city's third theme park after Lai Chi Kok Amusement Park (now closed) and Ocean Park Hong Kong. Officially opened on 12 September 2005, the resort contains the Hong Kong Disneyland theme park, the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Hollywood Hotel, Disney Explorers Lodge and several retail, dining and entertainment facilities covering 1.3 square kilometres (320 acres) of the island.
Ngong Ping 360 (Chinese: 昂坪360; Jyutping: ngong4 ping4 saam1 luk6 ling4, Cantonese) is a bicable gondola lift on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. Intended to improve tourism to the area, the aerial lift was previously known as Tung Chung Cable Car Project before acquiring the Ngong Ping 360 brand in April 2005. It consists of the Ngong Ping Cable Car, formerly known as the Ngong Ping 360 Skyrail, and the Ngong Ping Village, a retail and entertainment centre adjacent to the cable car's upper station. Ngong Ping 360 connects Tung Chung, on the north coast of Lantau and itself linked to central Hong Kong by the Tung Chung line, with the Ngong Ping area in the hills above. This is home to the Po Lin Monastery and the Tian Tan Buddha, both already significant tourist attractions in their own right. Before Ngong Ping 360's opening, the only access was via a mountain road and bus service.
Disneyland Resort (Chinese: 迪士尼) is a station on the Hong Kong MTR Disneyland Resort line. It was built to serve the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and Theme Park, and is located in Penny's Bay.
Fan Lau Fort is a former military fortification located on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. Named after the eponymous peninsula it is situated on, it was built in 1729 during the reign of the Yongzheng Emperor, a hundred and twelve years before the British took possession of Hong Kong. Abandoned in 1898, it became a declared monument of Hong Kong in 1981.
Lantau Peak, or Fung Wong Shan (literally "Phoenix Mountain"), is a mountain in Lantau South Country Park, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. It is the second-highest peak in Hong Kong and the highest point on the island, with a height of 934 metres (3,064 ft) above the Hong Kong Principal Datum, or around 933 metres (3,061 ft) above mean sea level.
Disney's Hollywood Hotel is one of three hotels at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. It officially opened with the resort on Monday, 12 September, 2005. It has a Hollywood Art Deco theme and contains over 600 guest rooms. The rooms contain three options: standard rooms, deluxe rooms, and sea-view rooms. All room types have two themes that could be chosen from, including Mickey and Friends, and Marvel. Rooms also have the option of being wheelchair accessible.
Inspiration Lake (Chinese: 迪欣湖), officially known as Inspiration Lake Recreation Centre (Chinese: 迪欣湖活動中心), is a 12 ha (30 acres) artificial lake located in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island, New Territories, Hong Kong. The lake, opened on 16 August 2005, was created as part of the development of adjacent Hong Kong Disneyland Resort as a dual-purpose project for recreation and an irrigation reservoir.
The Big Buddha is a large bronze sculpture of Buddha, completed in 1993, and located at Ngong Ping, near Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island, Hong Kong.
Hong Kong Disneyland (Chinese: 香港迪士尼樂園) (abbreviated HKDL; also known as HK Disneyland or Disneyland Hong Kong) is a theme park located on reclaimed land in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. It opened to visitors on Monday, September 12, 2005, at 13:00 HKT, the second Disneyland in Asia to open after Tokyo Disneyland in 1983, with Shanghai Disneyland later opening in 2016. Hong Kong Disneyland is located inside the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and is owned jointly by Hong Kong International Theme Parks (52%) and the Walt Disney Company (48%). It is the most visited theme park in Hong Kong, followed by Ocean Park Hong Kong. Disney attempted to avoid problems of cultural backlash by incorporating Chinese culture, customs, and traditions when designing and building the resort, including adherence to the rules of feng shui. Notably, a bend was put in a walkway near the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort entrance so good qi energy would not flow into the South China Sea.
Mui Wo is a rural town on the eastern coast of Lantau Island in Hong Kong. The 2011 census recorded 5,485 people living in Mui Wo and its environs.
Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel is the second Disney hotel in the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. The theme of the hotel is of a Victorian style, and is located near Disneyland Harbour. The hotel is built on reclaimed land and opened on 12 September 2005.
Mystic Manor (Chinese: 迷離大宅) is a dark ride attraction in the Mystic Point area of Hong Kong Disneyland. Unlike Disneyland's Haunted Mansion attraction and its counterparts in other Disney parks, Mystic Manor has a lighthearted, fantasy-based theme with no references to departed spirits or the afterlife, due to differences in traditional Chinese culture. The attraction does feature several references to the Haunted Mansion, such as a Medusa changing portrait, a conservatory, and the busts that turn to follow visitors as they move. References to other Disney attractions include several figures similar to those from The Enchanted Tiki Room in the Tribal Arts room.
Discovery College (Chinese: 智新書院) is a private independent school operated by the ESF in Discovery Bay, Hong Kong. It offers both primary and secondary education on one campus. The school first opened in August 2009 after replacing another ESF school, Bauhinia School, which first opened in January 2002. Discovery College has five houses, and provides education from year 1 to year 13.
Yi Tung Shan (Chinese: 二東山) is the ninth highest mountain in Hong Kong. It is situated east of Sunset Peak on Lantau Island, and is 747 m in height. Stage 2 of The Lantau Trail runs along the north side of its peak.
Discovery Bay Ferry Pier (Chinese: 愉景灣渡輪碼頭) is a two-storey ferry pier in Discovery Bay, Lantau Island, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is located near La Costa and Costa Court and opposite Discovery Bay Plaza and a bus terminus.
The Discovery Bay Tunnel (Chinese: 愉景灣隧道) is a toll tunnel that links Discovery Bay Road at Yi Pak Au to Cheung Tung Road at Siu Ho Wan beside the North Lantau Highway. It was built for the Discovery Bay residential development on the north-eastern coast of Lantau Island, Hong Kong.
HKFEW Wong Cho Bau Secondary School is an aided secondary school in Hong Kong. Founded in September 2003, the school is fully subsidized by Government of Hong Kong. Most subjects of the school are taught in Chinese. Situated in Fu Tung Estate, Tung Chung, New Territories near Tung Chung station, the grammar school had 65 teachers, as of 2016. Established by Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers, the school is the only secondary school governed by the teachers union.
The Ngong Ping Terminal is a station of Ngong Ping 360, a gondola lift line, located on Lantau Island's Ngong Ping in Hong Kong. It was opened on 18 September 2006.
Lantau North Country Park (Chinese: 北大嶼郊野公園) is one of two rural parks on Lantau Island, Hong Kong and is located on the north side of the island. The 22-square-kilometre (8.5 sq mi) park was designated in 1978.
Lantau South Country Park (Chinese: 南大嶼郊野公園) is one of two rural country parks on Lantau Island, Hong Kong, the other one being Lantau North Country Park and its extension.

Ling Liang Church E Wun Secondary School (靈糧堂怡文中學) is a co-educational Chinese-language aided high school located in Tung Chung, Islands District, Hong Kong. It was founded in 2002, and is operated by the Ling Liang World-wide Evangelistic Mission (Ling Liang Church) of Hong Kong.
Luk Keng Village or Luk Keng Tsuen (Chinese: 鹿頸村) is a village located on the Yam O peninsula on Lantau Island in the New Territories of Hong Kong, which links to Cheung Sok, a nearby uninhabited island, via the "Angel's Road," a tombolo path accessible only at low tide. Although nearby areas including Sunny Bay station have been developed, Luk Keng Village is still preserved as an undeveloped rural heritage area.
Nei Lak Shan (Chinese: 彌勒山) is the eighth highest mountain in Hong Kong. With a height of 751 m (2,464 ft), it is situated on Lantau Island immediately north of Ngong Ping where the Buddhist Po Lin Monastery is located.
Penny's Bay Power Station (Chinese: 竹篙灣燃氣輪機發電廠) is a gas turbine power station in Penny's Bay, Hong Kong. The HKD 1.1 billion power station was commissioned on 25 March 1992. The complex consists of three open cycle gas turbines in a rectangular turbine hall with three smokestacks. The turbines were supplied by John Brown Engineering and generators by GEC-Alsthom. It is operated by CLP Power as a standby and peaking power station. The power plant can start up in 12 minutes. Its primary fuel is ultra low sulphur diesel (ULSD).
Po Leung Kuk Mrs. Ma Kam Ming-Cheung Fook Sien College (Chinese: 保良局馬錦明夫人章馥仙中學) is a full-time grammar school situated in Tung Chung, Lantau, Hong Kong, beside Fu Tung Estate and Tung Chung station. Dr. Ma Kam Ming, a Po Leung Kuk consultant, donated HK$5 million to finance the establishment of the school in 1997.

Yat Tung Estate (Chinese: 逸東邨; Jyutping: jat6 dung1 cyun1) is a public housing estate in the western part of Tung Chung, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. It is divided into Yat Tung (I) Estate and Yat Tung (II) Estate, which collectively have a population of 36,913.
Pui O (Chinese: 貝澳, or 杯澳), formerly Lo Pui O (螺杯澳), is an area on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. It is a popular destination for holiday camping in Hong Kong. Visitors may also rent village houses for leisure. Located in the South Lantau, there are four main villages in Pui O, they are Lo Wai (老圍), San Wai (新圍), Lo Uk (羅屋), and Ham Tin (鹹田). Pui O is located at the edge of Lantau South Country Park.
Shek Pik Reservoir (Chinese: 石壁水塘) is a reservoir in Shek Pik on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. Built between 1957 and 1963, it has a storage capacity of 24 million cubic metres and is the third largest reservoir in Hong Kong after High Island Reservoir and Plover Cove Reservoir.
San Shek Wan (Chinese: 䃟石灣) is a small village located on Lantau Island, Hong Kong.
Sunset Peak or Tai Tung Shan (Chinese: 大東山) is the third-highest peak in Hong Kong and the second-highest on the island of Lantau. It is situated within the Lantau South Country Park and the Lantau North Country Park and stands at a height of 869 metres (2,851 ft) above the Hong Kong Principal Datum, or 868 metres (2,848 ft) above mean sea level. The second-highest peak of the territory and the highest on the island, the Lantau Peak, is located to its west.
Tai Ho Wan or Tai Ho Bay (Chinese: 大蠔灣; Cantonese Yale: daaih hòh wāan; lit. 'big oyster bay', also 大濠灣; 'big inlet bay') is a bay on the north shore of Lantau Island in the New Territories of Hong Kong. It is located west of Siu Ho Wan, and northeast of Tung Chung and Kei Tau Kok. The surrounding land was originally planned to be part of the North Lantau New Town scope, but there is a current slowdown in its plans because of the lack in population growth and environmental groups opposed to the next in abeyance.
Tung Chung Battery is a former artillery battery located on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. Named after the eponymous district it is situated in, it was built in 1817, twenty-four years before the British took possession of Hong Kong. It was rediscovered in 1980 and is a declared monument of Hong Kong.

YMCA of Hong Kong Christian College (Chinese: 港青基信書院; Jyutping: gong2 cing1 gei1 seon3 syu1 jyun2), abbreviated as YHKCC, is a secondary school located at Tung Chung, Lantau Island, Hong Kong operated under the Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) of the Education Bureau. It is the first secondary school sponsored by the YMCA of Hong Kong.
Luk Keng Pier (Chinese: 鹿頸碼頭) is a small public pier adjoining Luk Keng Village, Yam O, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. There is only a kai-to ferry route to and from Tsing Lung Tau in Tsuen Wan for villagers to travel to the urban area. This closed transportation relationship between Yam O and Tsing Lung Tau explains why Northeast Lantau is part of the Tsuen Wan District, instead of the Islands District. It was the only public transportation for Luk Keng Village and the whole of Yam O before Sunny Bay station on the MTR opened.

North Lantau Hospital (Chinese: 北大嶼山醫院; Cantonese Yale: Bāk Daaihyùhsāan Yīyún) is a rural general hospital in central Tung Chung, on Lantau Island, Hong Kong. It was completed in late 2012 and began services on 24 September 2013. The hospital has a 24-hour accident and emergency service, and various outpatient services including the North Lantau Community Health Centre. This hospital belongs to Kowloon West Cluster of Hospital Authority.
Shap Long Reservoir (also known as Chi Ma Wan Reservoir or Shap Long Irrigation Reservoir), built in 1955, is a reservoir located in Chi Ma Wan Peninsula and Lantau South Country Park in Chi Ma Wan, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. The Chi Ma Wan Country Trail and the Chi Ma Wan Mountain Bike Trail pass through the reservoir. The reservoir used to be the main water source for the residents of Cheung Chau, Peng Chau and Hei Ling Chau in the Islands District before being converted into an irrigation reservoir in the 1970s.

大澳楊侯古廟,又稱大澳侯王廟,是香港一所侯王廟,位於大嶼山大澳寶珠潭側,現被列為香港法定古蹟。廟脊上見石灣公仔、雙龍定火珠及簾板木雕。而純錫造牌匾和對聯為鎮廟之寶。廟中除了主神楊侯王外,亦有供奉關帝、北帝及洪聖四大人神。大澳楊侯古廟由華人廟宇委員會直轄管理。

梅窩文武廟是香港一所文武廟,位於新界大嶼山梅窩白銀鄉,是當地最古老的廟宇,建於明朝萬曆年間(1573年至1620年),較香港開埠初期設立的上環文武廟還要早二百多年。梅窩文武廟面積較小,不過規模尚算完整,供奉文帝文昌帝君和武帝關聖帝君。廟宇曾於光緒二十七年(1901年)及1960年重修。

Castle of Magical Dreams is the centerpiece castle at Hong Kong Disneyland. It replaced the park's previous centerpiece, Sleeping Beauty Castle, as part of the park's 15th anniversary celebration. The castle's design pays tribute to the 12 Disney Princesses and 2 Frozen queens: Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, Merida, Anna, Elsa, and Moana. It is the third attraction to open as part of the park's multi-year expansion from 2018 to 2023.

Silver Mine Bay Beach or Silvermine Bay Beach is a gazetted beach located facing Silver Mine Bay on Tung Wan Tau Road in Mui Wo, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. The beach has barbecue pits and is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government. The beach is 210 metres long and is rated as good to fair by the Environmental Protection Department for its water quality in the past twenty years. The beach offers views of Hei Ling Chau.
Yu Nga Court (Chinese: 裕雅苑) is a Home Ownership Scheme court developed by the Hong Kong Housing Authority in Tung Chung, Lantau Island, New Territories, Hong Kong near Century Link, Bermuda Park, Yi Tung Park and Sheraton Hong Kong Tung Chung Hotel. The estate was constructed by Aggressive Construction Co. Ltd and consists of six residential blocks completed in 2021. It is the first public housing project in Hong Kong that has been affected by airport height restrictions since the closure of the Kai Tak Airport in 1998. The building opened in March of 2022, and residents have started moving into the building.

煎魚灣營地,是香港的營地之一,是露營的地方,是大嶼山煎魚灣以南,近響鐘坳和鳳凰徑,英文叫Tsin Yue Wan Campsite。屬南大嶼郊野公園,行政上歸離島區。營地屬小型,有營位少於二十個。水源取自溪澗,季節性水源。歸漁農自然護理署管理。
