Hol is a municipality in Viken county, Norway.
Strandavatnet is a lake in Hol municipality, Norway. The lake covers an area of 23.75 square kilometres (9.17 sq mi), and lies 975 metres (3,199 ft) above sea level.' The lake is a reservoir for the Rud hydroelectric powerstation in Hovet, Buskerud. In 1952/1953 a dam was constructed which lifted the lake level 28 meters, thus the lake varies between 950 and 978 m above sea level.
Hallingskarvet National Park (Norwegian: Hallingskarvet nasjonalpark) is a national park in central Norway that was established by the government on 22 December 2006. The park is located in the municipalities of Hol (Viken county), Ulvik and Aurland (both in Vestland county). More precisely, the park comprises the Hallingskarv plateau and the high mountain areas to the west of it. It includes the Vargebreen glacier as well as the valleys of Såtedalen, Lengjedalen, Ynglesdalen, and parts of Raggsteindalen.
Halnefjorden is a large lake on the border of Vestland and Viken counties in Norway. The Norwegian National Road 7 runs along the northern shore of the lake, and that is the only road access to the lake. The lake is one of the headwaters of the river Numedalslågen.

Lordehytta (Lord Hut) is a stone mountain hut on Folarskardet in Hallingskarvet in Norway. It is the only cabin on the mountain, and was built around 1880 by the younger Lord Garvagh.
Geilo Airport, Dagali (Norwegian: Geilo flyplass, Dagali; formerly Geilo lufthavn, Dagali; IATA: DLD, ICAO: ENDI) is a private airport located at Dagali in Hol in Viken county, Norway. It was previously a public airport that was both a regional airport and served international tourist charter airlines serving the nearby ski resorts centered on Geilo. The airport opened in 1985, but failed commercially and was eventually closed in 2003.
Ustaoset Station (Norwegian: Ustaoset stasjon) is a railway station located at Ustaoset in Hol, Norway. The station is served by up to seven daily express trains operated by Vy. The station was opened in 1912 when cabin building started in the area. Ustaoset is primarily a recreational area, with 900 cabins.
Nygardsvatnet is a lake in the municipality of Hol in Viken county, Norway. The lake is situated south of the Hallingskarvet mountain range. The lake serves as a reservoir for Usta kraftverk, a hydroelectric plant which was put into operation in 1965. The water level is controlled by a dam at the outlet and a tunnel down to lakes Sløddfjorden and Ustevatn. The Usta kraftverk power plant is owned and operated by E- CO Energi.

The main inflow is on the west side of the lake provided by Ustekveikja, which originates from the area around Finse in Hordaland. Norwegian National Road 7 runs along the north side of the lake. Bergen line railway has stations at Ustaoset and Haugastøl.

The 16.74-square-kilometre (6.46 sq mi) lake sits at an elevation of 1,438 metres (4,718 ft) above sea level. The lake is located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southeast of the village of Aurlandsvangen (in Vestland), at the end of the Aurlandsdalen valley. In neighboring Viken county, the lake Djupsvatnet lies 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) to the east and Hallingskarvet National Park lies 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) to the south.

Hol Station (Norwegian: Hol stasjon) is a disused railway station located on the Bergen Line in Hol municipality, Buskerud county, Norway. It was opened as a Passing loop with a stop in 1907 when the Bergen Railway was opened to Gulsvik Station. It was upgraded to a station in 1931. However, in 1983 the station was closed and all passengers trains do not stop anymore. Meanwhile, the station still provides the passing loop function.

Geiteryggtunnelen er ein tunnel på Riksveg 50 i Hol kommune i Buskerud. Tunnelen går mellom Vestredalsvatnet og Vierbotn. Han er 3281 meter lang, og vart opna i 1987. Tunnelen har to kuldeportar, ein i kvar ende.
