Taihu (Chinese: 太湖), also known as Lake Tai or Lake Taihu, is a lake in the Yangtze Delta and the third largest freshwater lake in China. The lake is in Jiangsu province and a significant part of its southern shore forms its border with Zhejiang. With an area of 2,250 square kilometers (869 sq mi) and an average depth of 2 meters (6.6 ft), it is the third-largest freshwater lake entirely in China, after Poyang and Dongting. The lake contains about 90 islands, ranging in size from a few square meters to several square kilometers.
The Precious Belt Bridge, also known by other names, is a stone arch bridge near Suzhou in Jiangsu, China. It is located at the intersection of the Grand Canal and Tantai Lake about 6 kilometers (3.7 mi) southeast of central Suzhou.

It is closed to Shangfang Mountain, which is a national forest park of China. The most famous spot of it is "Lake Shi String of Moons" (石湖串月) on August 17 of the Chinese calendar, when nine reflections of the moon appear in a line. Lake Shi was a bay of the Lake Tai in ancient times.

Mudu (simplified Chinese: 木渎; traditional Chinese: 木瀆; pinyin: Mùdú; Suzhounese: ⁸moq-doq₈, Wu Chinese pronunciation: [moʔ˧ doʔ˦]) is a town in Wuzhong District, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. It takes about 1.5 hours to drive from the downtown in Suzhou to Mudu. Mudu is a small town which is famous for its history. During the Qing dynasty, the Qianlong Emperor visited Mudu six times when he traveled around the country. Nowadays, many teleplay groups also come to Mudu frequently to film television series. Due to this, many outlanders came to Mudu to make their business by renting out costumes and taking photos for visitors. There is a famous street in Suzhou named Shantang Street, Mudu also has one. It is shorter than the one in Suzhou downtown, but if you go straight along the street, one can approach to the Linyan Mountain. Many visitors will first visit this mountain when they visit Mudu.

Suzhou Guangfu Airport (IATA: SZV, ICAO: ZSSZ), also known as Suzhou West Airfield, is a People's Liberation Army Air Force Base in the city of Suzhou in East China's Jiangsu province, located 22 kilometres (14 mi) southwest of Suzhou City. From February 1994 until 29 October 2002 it briefly served civil flights for Suzhou, with flights to Foshan and Beijing, but is now exclusively used by the military. Suzhou is now mainly served by Wuxi Shuofang Airport, Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, and Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
