Jingtian station (Chinese: 景田站; pinyin: Jǐngtían Zhàn; Jyutping: ging2 tin4 zaam6; lit. 'Sunny Field Station') is a metro station on Line 2 and Line 9 of the Shenzhen Metro. It opened on 28 June 2011. Jingtian will become an interchange with Line 9 from 30 December 2016.

The station takes its name from COCO Park (星河购物公园; 星河購物公園), a major shopping mall. It also has underground connections to Futian station via Link City and the Ping An Finance Centre.

It is one of Shenzhen's notable retail areas, having one of the largest electronics markets in the world. The area's status as a major electronics manufacturing hub, and sprawling electronics marketplaces have earned it (and Shenzhen) occidental nicknames such as "China's Silicon Valley", and the "Silicon Valley of Hardware". Multiple malls contain various businesses. In 2020, the area had about 38,000 businesses. Huaqiangbei is known in China for selling cheap electronics. Most of the smartphones in China come from this area. Many mobile phones stolen in Europe and US are also smuggled into the region.
Futian station (Chinese: 福田站; pinyin: Fútián Zhàn; Jyutping: Fuk1 Tin4 Zaam6) is a station on the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Express Rail Link, and the final station in mainland China before trains enter Hong Kong. Futian District is in southern Shenzhen, where the central business district is located. The station opened on 28 June 2011 serving the Shenzhen Metro, and since 30 December 2015 it has been the first underground high speed railway station on a long-distance line in China. It serves as an interchange station between the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Express Rail Link and Line 2, Line 3 and Line 11 of the Shenzhen Metro.

SEG Plaza (Chinese: 赛格广场) is a skyscraper in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. Completed in 2000 and located at the junction of Shennan Road and Huaqiangbei Electronics Market, it originally stood 356 metres (1,168 ft) tall including the height of the original antenna which has since been removed. It was the 21st tallest in China and the 72nd tallest in the world. The observation floor at the 69th level used to offer views over Shenzhen and northern Hong Kong but has been converted to office space. It is the home of, and named after the Shenzhen Electronics Group (SEG). It can be reached by Huaqiang North Station and Huaqiang Road Station of the Shenzhen Metro.
Shenzhen CFC Changfu Centre (Chinese: CFC长富中心) is a supertall skyscraper in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. It is 304.3 metres (998.4 ft) tall. Construction started in 2011 and was completed in January 2016.
Futian Checkpoint station (Chinese: 福田口岸站; pinyin: fú tián kǒu àn zhàn; Jyutping: fuk1 tin4 hau2 on6 zaam6) is a terminus of Line 4 and Line 10 of the Shenzhen Metro. It gives access to Central Walk shopping mall (怡景中心城), Link City, Wongtee Plaza, the Sheraton Hotel, the Shangri-La Hotel, and Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center.

Civic Center or Citizens' Center (Chinese: 市民中心) is a government building in Shenzhen, China. It is located within the Futian Central Business District and was constructed at a cost of CNY 2.172 billion. The civic building was the centerpiece plan for the Shenzhen Futian Central District Master Plan and is "attentive to traditional asian themes and traditions". The overall city plan is based on a central axis, which stretched 2km from Lianhua Mountain in the north, through the Civic Center, and to the Exhibition Center in the south. The land area of the master plan is roughly 100 city blocks and the projected total floor space of the plan is "5 times the size of the original World Trade Center Towers".

It was also the first book store in China to introduce the concept of "bookstore and shopping mall two-in-one" (BookMall), and played an important role in Shenzhen's honorary title of "Global Model City for Universal Reading" awarded by the UNESCO. In addition, story-telling competitions are held here every Sunday for children 4–8 years old.

Lee / Timchula was the continuation of the Edward Larrabee Barnes, John MY Lee Architecture firm after Barnes retired in 1993. Completed in 2001.

Measuring 220,000 meters square, it is 1.6 times as large as the nearby intermodal Futian station. It is the second four-line interchange station in the Shenzhen Metro after Chegongmiao station.

Meilin Reservoir belongs to the first grade water source protection area (一级水源保护区) and is part of Shenzhen's water supply network. It covers a total surface area of 4.26 km2 (1.64 sq mi) and has a storage capacity of some 1,309×106 m3 (0.314 cu mi) of water. It is surrounded by the Longding Hill (龙顶山).

Shenzhen Second People's Hospital (Chinese: 深圳市第二人民医院; also known as: Shenzhen University First Affiliated Hospital, Chinese: 深圳大学附属医院), formerly named Shenzhen Red Cross Hospital, Shenzhen Huaqiang Hospital. The hospital is a municipal public hospital of Shenzhen, located at the intersection of Hongli Road and Huaqiang Road, Huaqiangbei area, Futian District. It is a national Grade III Class A hospital.

The Convention and Exhibition Center (Chinese: 会展中心) is a large public building in Futian Central Business District, Shenzhen, China. By occupying an area of 280,000 square metres (3,000,000 sq ft), it is the largest single structure building in Shenzhen. It is 540 metres (1,770 ft) in length and 282 metres (925 ft) wide. The building is 60 metres (200 ft) tall and was completed in 2004 at a cost of CNY3.2 billion. It has held almost 300 exhibitions and more than 1350 conferences since its opening. It is built by the Shenzhen municipal government, and was designed by the German architectural firm Gerkan, Marg and Partners.

It ran into operation in July 1998 as Futian District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in a multipurpose medical building, which was a five stories building with emergency service, consulting rooms, and wards.

The lake provides landscape water and is used for flood and silt control, and recreational activities, such as boating, swimming, and fishing.
