Arya Diwaker (Hindi: आर्य दिवाकर) is a Hindu association that built the biggest mandir (Hindu temple) of Suriname. The temple attracts many visitors, both Hindus and non-Hindus, coming from Suriname and from all over the world. It is located in the city centre fields in Paramaribo.

The bridge is part of the East-West Link, and is named after former president Jules Wijdenbosch. Constructed by Dutch constructor Ballast-Nedam, the bridge has two lanes, is 1504 metres long, and was opened on 20 May 2000.
André Kamperveen Stadium, formerly the National Stadion, is a multi-purpose stadium in Paramaribo, Suriname. Since its opening in 1953, the stadium has been the official home stadium of both football teams S.V. Transvaal and S.V. Robinhood and the official national stadium of the Suriname national football team. With an official capacity of 7,100, it is the largest stadium in Suriname.
The Suriname River (Dutch: Surinamerivier) is 480 km long and flows through the country Suriname. Its sources are located in the Guiana Highlands on the border between the Wilhelmina Mountains and the Eilerts de Haan Mountains (where it is known as the Gran Rio). The river flows below the reservoir along Brokopondo, Berg en Dal, the migrant communities Klaaskreek and Nieuw-Lombé, Jodensavanne, Carolina, Ornamibo and Domburg, before reaching the capital Paramaribo on the left bank and Meerzorg on the right bank. At Nieuw-Amsterdam it is joined by the Commewijne and immediately thereafter at the sandspit Braamspunt it flows into the Atlantic Ocean.
Fort Zeelandia is a fortress in Paramaribo, Suriname. In 1640 the French built a wooden fort on the spot which, during British colonial period, was reinforced and became Fort Willoughby. It was taken by the Dutch in 1667 and renamed Fort Zeelandia.
Goslar is a German turbine steamboat, and was in service as a freighter. She was built in 1929 in Hamburg. On 5 September 1939, she surrendered in Suriname. On 10 May 1940, Germany invaded the Netherlands, and the ship was scuttled by her crew. Attempts to remove the wreck in 1955 failed, and has resulted in the ship breaking in two parts.

Garden of Palms or Palmgardens (Dutch: Palmentuin) is a palm tree landscape garden in Paramaribo, Suriname. In addition to tall royal palms, the grounds are home to tropical birds and a "troop" of capuchin monkeys. Palmentuin is located on Van Roseveltkade behind the Presidential Palace of Suriname and is a tourist attraction.
Weg naar Zee (also Weg naar See) is a resort in Suriname, located in the Paramaribo District. Its population at the 2012 census was 16,037, and has a large East Indian population. The name can be translated as "road to sea", and it is indeed the road to the sea. Weg naar Zee is home to the Open Air Crematorium which opened in 1968, and there is a pilgrimage site for Hindus nearby. In 1968, oil had been discovered in Weg naar Zee, and is being exploited by Staatsolie. In 2015, a mangrove conservation effort was launched. The rising sea tide due to climate change, and the decline for the forests, increase the risk of flooding. The project aims to increase the number of mangrove forests near the coast. A part of the resort is still an agricultural area.
Tammenga is a resort in Suriname, located in the Paramaribo District. Its population at the 2012 census was 15,819. The resort has been named after Henderijkes Tammenga (1815-1864), who after his first plantation did not succeed, started farming in a swampy area near Paramaribo in 1852. Most of the area was sold to East Indian indentured workers in the late 19th century.
Blauwgrond is a resort in Suriname, located in the Paramaribo District. Its population at the 2012 census was 31,483. Blauwgrond started as a Javanese village to the north of Paramaribo. During the 1960s and 1970s, large scale building projects turned the village into a neighbourhood of Paramaribo, and is mainly known as the Javanese culinary centre with many warungs and restaurants. The resort was called Blauwgrond (English: Blue Ground), because the earth had a bluish colour.
Centrumkerk is a church of the Dutch Reformed Church of Suriname. It is located on Kerkplein in the centre of Paramaribo. It was the State church until independence of Suriname in 1975. The Centrumkerk is a monument, and an UNESCO World Heritage Site. The building is octagonal without a church tower.

The ground floor contains the food market where fruits, vegetables, meat and fish are sold. The top floor is a generic retail market where clothing, cigarettes, CDs and other consumer goods are sold. The market is located on the Suriname River, and is open Monday to Saturday.
The Elisabeth Samson House is a residential building which used to be owned by Elisabeth Samson, the first Afro-Surinamese millionaire. It is located on Wagenwegstraat in the centre of Paramaribo, Suriname, and is a monument. After Samson's death, it was bought by the State, and in the early 21st century, it was in a neglected state. Cynthia McLeod wanted the building restored. On 19 January 2021, the building was bought by the Elisabeth Samson Foundation, and will be turned into a museum.

Het Denksport Centrum is een sportcentrum in Suriname. Het gebouw staat op het terrein van de Anton de Kom Universiteit in Paramaribo en is ingericht voor dammen, schaken, troefcall en andere denksporten. Het directoraat Sport nam het beheer over het pand echter kort daarna over. Anno 2022 kunnen de denksportbonden er zelf geen gebruik meer van maken.
Het RCR Zorghotel, voluit Royal Care Residence Zorghotel, is een ziekenhuis in Paramaribo, Suriname. Het ziekenhuis werd in 2010 geopend als instelling voor behandeling en revalidatie voor Nederlanders in een rustige omgeving. Nadat de wet in Nederland wijzigde, kreeg een deel van het gebouw een hotelbestemming en ging het verder onder de naam Medical Center en Grand Riverside Hotel.
