The Randburg Library is a regional library in the City of Johannesburg, South Africa. It is situated inside the Randburg Civic Centre, which houses the Randburg Clinic and Randburg Licensing Department. The Library serves the township of Cosmo City and the surrounding suburbs; it is situated within the Randburg Civic Centre. It falls under the City of Johannesburg's Region B libraries. Randburg Library is leading the cities efforts to digitally transform libraries with initiatives such as mLiteracy. In August 2023, the library was gifted with an inverter to enable patrons to use the library during load shedding. Randburg library is one of 89 libraries in the City of Johannesburg. Libraries are key community centers for learning and knowledge sharing, and educational programs can make a big impact. COJ librarians promote the use of apps such as Overdrive Libby, and African Story Book (ASb reader) to create a culture of reading. The library had a digital literacy class for homeless people called "Project: Master Class" which taught digital skills and online courses to homeless people.

The Braamfontein Gate Building is a skyscraper in Braamfontein, Johannesburg, South Africa. It was built in 1976 to a height of 128 metres. The building was the headquarters of French oil company Total Elf Fina, and as such was known as Total House. When Total Elf Fina relocated to another building, it lost its naming rights. As of 2011, it housed the Head Office of the JSE-listed UCS Group Limited and various subsidiaries (Argility, UKS) The building was renovated in 2016 by its current owners and was converted to 390 highly desirable city apartments with amenities such as a business centre, cinema, fitness centre and an entertainment area with a luxurious swimming pool.
The Randburg Hockey Stadium, known as the Randburg Astroturf , is a 3,000-capacity field hockey stadium in Randburg, Gauteng, South Africa. In 2019, the venue hosted both men's and women's Premier Hockey League finals. Those were the last PHL finals. Both field hockey finals took place in front of capacity crowds of 3,000. The Drakensberg Dragons won the men's final and the Madikwe Rangers won the women's final.

The Friedenskirche or Church of Peace is situated at 30, Edith Cavell Street, Johannesburg, South Africa. It was built in 1912 and houses the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation of Johannesburg which was established in 1888 as the Deutsch-Evangelische Gemeinde zu Johannesburg (German-Evangelical Congregation of Johannesburg). The building was designed in the Neo-Romanesque style by the Swiss-born architect Theophile Schaerer [1]. The tall bell tower on a rocky prominence above Twist Street remains a landmark to this day.
The Beyers Naudé Square is a large city square in the center of Johannesburg, South Africa, named after Beyers Naudé, a former dominee in the Dutch Reformed Church, who was banned by the apartheid government for campaigning against apartheid. The square was originally called Market Square because it was Johannesburg's first market place after it came into existence.
