The Parish of Sutherland is one of the 57 parishes in Cumberland County, New South Wales, a cadastral unit for use on land titles. It was originally proclaimed as the parish of Southerland with an 'o', but was misspelled without it on the government gazette. It includes all of the Kurnell peninsula, with Botany Bay and the Georges River to the north; part of the Woronora River to the west; and Port Hacking to the south. Suburbs within the parish include Cronulla, Miranda, Woolooware, Caringbah, Gymea, Sutherland, Sylvania Waters and Oyster Bay.

Lady Carrington Drive is a designated scenic service and walking trail located in the Royal National Park. The trail runs from Audley to the southern precinct of the park east of Waterfall, alongside the Hacking River. Opened in 1886, the 10-kilometer long trail was the first scenic route to be completed in the Royal National Park, seven years after the park was officially declared. It initially served as a carriageway, although traffic on the road is closed, and the trail now serves as a bike and walking trail. The route bypasses many scenic points along the Hacking River, including Gibraltar Rock and Palona Cave.

Greenhills Beach is an unpatrolled beach on Bate Bay, located in Greenhills Beach, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Recognised as one of Sydney's longest beaches, Greenhills Beach is roughly 3 kilometres in length and forms part of a chain of beaches residing on Bate Bay. It is the northernmost section of the Greenhills-North Cronulla beach complex and is the only section of the beach not to be patrolled by a volunteer Surf Club or by surf lifesavers.
