Die Karmeliterkirche in Boppard ist eine um 1300 errichtete Klosterkirche, die zum benachbarten Karmeliterkloster von Boppard gehörte, das die drittälteste Ordensniederlassung der Karmeliten in Deutschland war. Zwischen 1439 und 1444 wurde die Kirche nach Norden hin um ein Seitenschiff erweitert. Dieses erhielt eine Fensterverglasung, die heute unter anderem in Museen in den USA und Europa ausgestellt wird. Heute gehört die Klosterkirche zur örtlichen Pfarrei St. Severus und wird von dieser für Gottesdienste genutzt.
Das Kastell Boppard (lateinisch Bodobrica, auch: Bodobriga, Baudobriga oder Baudobrica) war ein spätrömisches Militärlager an der Rheintalstraße, dessen Besatzung für Sicherungs- und Überwachungsaufgaben an der „nassen“ Grenze (ripae) des Rheins zuständig war. Die Anlage liegt heute im Zentrum von Boppard, einer Stadt im Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis, Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Die Reste der antiken Umwehrung sind durch ihren außergewöhnlich guten Erhaltungszustand für die wissenschaftliche Forschung von besonderem Interesse.
Das Kloster Marienberg in Boppard ist ein ehemaliges Benediktinerinnenkloster. Es wurde im 12. Jahrhundert gegründet und der Benediktinerabtei St. Matthias unterstellt. Ab Mitte des 15. Jahrhunderts, in Folge einer Reform der Regeln zum Leben im Kloster, stand Marienberg eine eigene Äbtissin vor. Deshalb wird das Klostergebäude heute auch Benediktinerinnenabtei Marienberg genannt. Nach einem verheerenden Brand im Jahr 1738 wurde es im Barockstil neu aufgebaut. Im Zuge der Säkularisation wurde das Kloster aufgelöst und in eine Kaltwasseranstalt umgebaut. Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg wurde es bis ins Jahr 1981 von den Ursulinen wieder als Kloster und als Schule verwendet. Seitdem stand das Kloster hauptsächlich leer.
Das Karmeliterkloster in Boppard ist ein ehemaliges Klostergebäude aus dem 18. Jahrhundert. Ein Vorläufer dieses Klostergebäudes wurde im 13. Jahrhundert errichtet. Das Bopparder Karmeliterkloster ist somit die drittälteste Ordensniederlassung der Karmeliten in Deutschland. Das denkmalgeschützte Gebäude wird seit 1976 von der Stadtverwaltung Boppard genutzt, steht zurzeit aufgrund einer laufenden Sanierung allerdings leer.
Die Dudenrother Schanze ist eine abgegangene Niederungsburg vom Typus einer Turmhügelburg (Motte) am heutigen Schinderhannes-Radweg in der Nähe der Ortsgemeinde Braunshorn, Ortsteil Dudenroth, im Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis in Rheinland-Pfalz.
Die Fleckertshöhe ist ein 529,8 m ü. NHN hoher Berg im vorderen Hunsrück. Südwestlich des Berges befindet sich seit 1844 ein gleichnamiger Luftkurort, der heute zum Ortsbezirk Weiler der Stadt Boppard gehört. Der Berg und der kleine Ort liegen am Rand des Welterbes Kulturlandschaft Oberes Mittelrheintal. Die A 61 ist nur 500 m entfernt, und es existiert ein Bahnhaltepunkt an der Hunsrückbahn. Auf dem Berg befindet sich der 121 Meter hohe Sender Boppard-Fleckertshöhe.
Der Jakobsbergerhof ist ein ehemaliges Klostergut auf dem Jakobsberg, einer Rheinhöhe nordöstlich von Boppard oberhalb der Rebhänge des Bopparder Hamm. Im 21. Jahrhundert ist er ein Hotel mit Golfplatz.
Das Herzog-Johann-Gymnasium (HJG) in Simmern ist das älteste Gymnasium im Hunsrück. Es steht in der nahezu ununterbrochenen Tradition der Simmerner Lateinschule in der kurpfälzischen Residenz vom Ende des 15. und Beginn des 16. Jahrhunderts (Konsolidierung). Auf den Sohn des mutmaßlichen Gründers, Herzog Johann II. führt die heutige Schule ihren Namen zurück. Das moderne Gymnasium wurde seit 1912 aufgebaut, das erste Abitur der ab 1923 vollberechtigten Anstalt fand 1926 mit fünf Prüflingen, darunter einer Abiturientin, statt. Die heutigen Gebäude wurden zwischen 1976 und 1984 bezogen. Mit einer Schülerzahl von etwa 1000 gehört die Schule zu den größten ihrer Art.
Der Krankenhausstandort Hospital zum Heiligen Geist (früher Gesundheitszentrum zum Heiligen Geist) in Boppard wird von der Gemeinschaftsklinikum Mittelrhein gGmbH betrieben, außerdem werden die zwei Bopparder Senioreneinrichtungen Wohnstift zum Heiligen Geist Belgrano (Seniorenheim) und Wohnstift zum Heiligen Geist (betreutes Wohnen und Kurzzeitpflege) von deren Tochtergesellschaft Seniocura GmbH betrieben. Das Hospital zum Heiligen Geist und der Wohnstift zum Heiligen Geist befinden sich in der Bopparder Innenstadt und sind räumlich miteinander verbunden. Teile der vom Wohnstift genutzten Gebäudeflügel, sowie das Hospitaltor, stehen unter Denkmalschutz. Der Wohnstift zum Heiligen Geist Belgrano hingegen befindet sich in einem Neubau im ehemaligen Park der Villa Belgrano. Am Standort Boppard arbeiten rund 240 Mitarbeiter und versorgen jährlich rund 3.500 stationäre (inkl. teilstationäre) und 7.200 ambulante Patienten (inkl. ambulante OP).

Die Kriegsgräberstätte Pfaffenheck ist eine Gräberanlage für Opfer des Zweiten Weltkrieges, die zwischen dem 14. und 17. März 1945 in der Umgebung von Pfaffenheck zu Tode gekommen waren. Trotz der geographischen Nähe zu Pfaffenheck befindet sich der Friedhof heute in der Gemarkung der Stadt Boppard.

Der Bismarckturm von Sargenroth im Hunsrück in Rheinland-Pfalz wurde zur Erinnerung an den ersten deutschen Reichskanzler Fürst Otto von Bismarck (1815–1898) erbaut. Der nach dem preisgekrönten Typenentwurf Götterdämmerung des Architekten Wilhelm Kreis ausgeführte Aussichtsturm steht unmittelbar am Ortsrand von Sargenroth auf einer Anhöhe zwischen dem Simmerbachtal und dem Soonwald. Er hat eine Höhe von 17,5 Metern und wurde 1902 eingeweiht.
Die Burg Balduinseck, auch Baldeneck genannt, ist die Ruine einer Höhenburg im Hunsrück. Sie liegt in 300 m ü. NN auf einem nur etwa 20 Meter hohen Schieferkegel am Zusammenfluss des Wohnrother Baches und des Schumbaches zum Mörsdorfer Bach, auf der Gemarkung der Gemeinde Buch im Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis in Rheinland-Pfalz.

Die Kirche Sankt Aegidius in Bad Salzig, einem Ortsbezirk von Boppard, ist die Pfarrkirche der katholischen Pfarrei Sankt Aegidius. Die Kirche beziehungsweise die Pfarrei ist nach dem heiligen Aegidius benannt. Am Ort der heutigen Kirche stand schon im 13. Jahrhundert eine Kapelle, die heutige Pfarrkirche wurde 1904 geweiht.
Die historische Mutter-Rosa-Kapelle ist ein gotischer Sakralbau in Oberwesel am Mittelrhein in Rheinland-Pfalz unter dem Patronat der seliggesprochenen Franziskanerin Rosa Flesch. Bis 2008 wurde sie Wernerkapelle genannt.

Der Jüdische Friedhof Sohren ist die Begräbnisstätte der Juden in Sohren, einer Gemeinde im Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis in Rheinland-Pfalz. Der jüdische Friedhof ist ein geschütztes Kulturdenkmal, er befindet sich nordöstlich des Ortes in einem Waldstück nördlich der Bundesstraße 50.
Das Kant-Gymnasium Boppard ist das einzige Gymnasium in Boppard mit einem weiten Einzugsbereich in der Region und einer langen Tradition. Es wurde 1764 von den Franziskanern als Lateinschule gegründet, 1765 als öffentliche Schule genehmigt und ist seit 1904 ein Vollgymnasium. Die Schule ist heute (2016) dreizügig, hat etwa 580 Schüler, die von etwa 60 Lehrkräften unterrichtet werden. Weiterhin ist das Kant-Gymnasium eine der Ausbildungsschulen für Referendare des Studienseminars Koblenz. Der Altbau des Gebäudes steht unter Denkmalschutz.
Das Kloster Ravengiersburg befindet sich in der Ortsgemeinde Ravengiersburg im zentralen Hunsrück. Bis 1566 war das Kloster ein Augustiner-Chorherrenstift, heute befindet sich das Kloster im Besitz der katholischen Pfarrei Simmern-Rheinböllen St. Lydia.
Der Landkreis Sankt Goar war ein Landkreis in Rheinland-Pfalz. Eingerichtet wurde er im Jahr 1816 als Kreis Sankt Goar, nachdem das Rheinland preußisch geworden war. Administrativ war er dem Regierungsbezirk Koblenz in der Provinz Großherzogtum Niederrhein (ab 1822 Rheinprovinz) zugehörig und wurde in die Bürgermeistereien Bacharach, Boppard, Brodenbach, Halsenbach, Niederheimbach, Obergondershausen, Oberwesel, Pfalzfeld, Sankt Goar und Wiebelsheim unterteilt. Insgesamt gab es im Kreis zunächst 74 und zuletzt bei seiner Auflösung noch 70 Gemeinden.
Die Liebfrauenkirche in Oberwesel ist ein gotischer Sakralbau am Mittelrhein.
Der Naturpark Soonwald-Nahe ist ein Naturpark im südöstlichen Hunsrück und im Mittelteil des Nahelandes. Er umfasst im Wesentlichen die großen Waldgebiete des Soonwaldes und des Lützelsoons sowie das nördliche Naheufer zwischen Kirn und Bad Kreuznach. Die größte Erhebung bildet die Ellerspring mit 657 m über NN. Der Park wurde im Jahr 2005 gegründet und umfasst eine Fläche von 736 km².
Der Schanzerkopf im Soonwald ist mit 643,5 m ü. NHN die höchste Erhebung der Ortsgemeinde Argenthal im rheinland-pfälzischen Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis. Der Gipfel ist bewaldet, ein 80 Meter hoher Sendeturm aus Stahlbeton steht auf der Erhebung bei 49° 57′ 33″ N, 7° 38′ 12″ O. Der Nordhang wird im Winter zum Rodeln genutzt, eine 400 m lange steile Rodelbahn zieht Wintersportler aus der gesamten Umgebung an. Vom Gipfel ist ein guter Ausblick in nördlicher Richtung über den Hunsrück möglich. Seit 2008 befindet sich ein weiterer Sendemast auf dem Gipfel. In den 1960er Jahren bauten Wintersportfreunde aus Ellern in Eigenregie eine kleine Skiliftanlage, die sich sehr großer Beliebtheit erfreute, aber Ende der 1970er Jahre stillgelegt wurde, da sie aktuellen aufsichtsbehördlichen Auflagen nicht mehr genügte.
Das Schloss Gemünden ist eine Schlossanlage im Hunsrück im Ort Gemünden.
Der Simmerkopf im Soonwald ist mit 653 m ü. NHN die höchste Erhebung im Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis. Der Berg liegt auf der Gemarkung der Ortsgemeinde Riesweiler. Der Gipfel liegt vollständig in einer Fichtenmonokultur, ein Hinweiskreuz mit Erläuterungen und eine Ruhebank zeigen dem Wanderer die Stelle. Ein Ausblick über den Hunsrück ist vom Gipfel des Simmerkopfs nicht möglich.
Die katholische Pfarrkirche St. Bartholomäus ist ein denkmalgeschütztes Kirchengebäude in Hirzenach, einem Ortsbezirk der Stadt Boppard. Sie war einmal die Propsteikirche St. Maria und Johannes Evangelist der ehemaligen Propstei Hirzenach.
Die Stiftskirche St. Goar ist eine evangelische Gemeindekirche in der Stadt Sankt Goar in Rheinland-Pfalz. Die ehemalige Stiftskirche gehört zu den prominentesten Vertretern mittelalterlicher Kirchenbauten im Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis. Mit ihrer romanischen Krypta, dem spätromanischen Chor und dem spätgotischen Langhaus gibt sie reges Zeugnis von den Bautraditionen und architektonischen Entwicklungen am Mittelrhein.
Die Wildburghöhe im Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis ist eine 633,5 m ü. NHN hohe Erhebung des Soonwaldes, einem Teil des Hunsrück in Rheinland-Pfalz.
Herschwiesen ist ein Ortsbezirk der Stadt Boppard. Der Ort liegt auf den Hunsrückhöhen zwischen Rhein und Mosel. Als Ortsteil umfasst Herschwiesen noch den Ort Windhausen.
Das Gebäude Rheinallee 22, auch Alumnat St. Michael genannt, ist ein ehemaliges Alumnat in Boppard, das in Zusammenhang mit dem Einrichten eines Vollgymnasiums im Jahr 1904 eröffnet wurde. Seit Ende der 1980er-Jahre dient es der Pfarrei St. Severus als Jugend- und Gemeindezentrum.

Der Spitzenstein ist ein 417 m ü. NHN hoher Berg im Hunsrück, wo dieser als Südöstlicher Rheinhunsrück steil ins Obere Mittelrheintal bei St. Goar abfällt. Er erhebt sich östlich von Urbar und nördlich von Niederburg, die beide als Ortsgemeinde der Verbandsgemeinde Sankt Goar-Oberwesel im Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis angehören.
Die Villa Brosius ist ein denkmalgeschütztes Gebäude im Bopparder Stadtteil Hirzenach. Sie wird heute zu Wohnzwecken genutzt, war aber im Mittelalter eine Kirche. Ihren Namen hat sie von einem ehemaligen Bewohner, dem Hirzenacher Pfarrer Wilhelm Brosius. Der ehemalige Kirchenbau gehört zu den ältesten erhaltenen seiner Art am Mittelrhein.
