HMS Minden was a Royal Navy 74-gun Ganges-class third-rate ship of the line, launched on 19 June 1810 from Bombay, India. She was named after the German town Minden and the Battle of Minden of 1759, a decisive victory of British and Prussian forces over France in the Seven Years' War. The town is about 75 km away from Hanover, from where the House of Hanover comes—the dynasty which ruled the United Kingdom from 1714 until 1901.
Chungking Mansions is a building located at 36–44 Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Whitfield Barracks were barracks in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It was named after Henry Wase Whitfield, who was appointed commander of the British Army in Hong Kong in 1869. The Battle of Kowloon (Chinese: 九龍海戰) was a skirmish between British and Chinese vessels off the Kowloon Peninsula, China, on 4 September 1839, located in Hong Kong, although Kowloon was then part of the Guangdong province. The skirmish was the first armed conflict of the First Opium War and occurred when British boats opened fire on Chinese war junks enforcing a food sales embargo on the British community. The ban was ordered after a Chinese man died in a brawl with drunk British sailors at Tsim Sha Tsui. The Chinese authorities did not consider the punishment to be sufficient as meted out by British officials, so they suspended food supplies in an attempt to force the British to turn over the culprit.

Completed in 1887 under the name of Station Street (差館街), it was once the most prosperous street in Kowloon. 佐敦谷水塘(英語:Jordan Valley Reservoir)是香港九龍觀塘區一個已被填平的水塘,位於佐敦谷近四順區。此水塘據香港水務署有關方面指出是於1958年建議興建,並於1960年建成,用作儲存海水以作供應觀塘區及四順區沖廁水,總儲水量約為236400立方米(依1950年至60年代的官方文件則約5400萬加侖)。水塘於1980年代初被填平,現址為前佐敦谷堆填區,並已開發建成佐敦谷公園,但區內同時有「佐敦谷海水配水庫」以及污水處理設施,而在水壩以下亦建有沈雲山海水抽水站及沈雲山食水抽水站(重建中)。

The West Kowloon Bamboo Theatre has been held since 2012 by the WKCDA which aims to promote Cantonese opera and the West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD). Launched in 2014, Justice Centre Hong Kong is an independent, non-profit organisation that focuses on the protection of refugees and asylum seekers in Hong Kong. Hong Kong has long been a hub of migration and refuge due to wars in the region and Hong Kong's historical role as a trading and transit entrepôt. There were estimated to be 14,000 refugees in the territory in 2017, and these refugees are in need of extensive legal assistance as the 0.8 substantiation rate is extremely low compared to rates of 25-62% per cent in other developed jurisdictions. Before early 2014 the organisation was known as the Hong Kong Refugee Advice Centre (HKRAC), which in 2007 had grown out of the Refugee Advice Unit from another local organisation working with refugees, Christian Action. And spun off by human rights lawyers Jennifer Stone and Raquel Amador, who were the first Directors. In 2012 Aleta Miller became executive director, helping HKRAC win the Clifford Chance Foundation Access to Justice Award in 2012, and relaunching the organisation as Justice Centre Hong Kong in 2014. From 2015 the executive director was Piya Muqit, who was previously head of policy and advocacy at UNICEF UK. In November 2020 Melanie McLaren was appointed executive director.

Airside (stylized as AIRSIDE) is a skyscraper developed by Nan Fung Group (Nan Fung) in Hong Kong. Located in the Kai Tak neighbourhood in Kowloon, Airside forms part of the Kai Tak Development on the former area of Kai Tak Airport. The skyscraper is 207 m tall and was opened on 28 September 2023 including an entrance into Kai Tak station via Entrance C. It is a mixed-use building that includes office and commercial space. The Stone House is one of the three 'Treasures of Tai Hom Village' (大磡村三寶), the three remaining structures from the former Tai Hom squatter village demolished in 2001. The building is located at No. 4 Tai Koon Yuen (大觀園), Tai Hom, in the Wong Tai Sin District of Kowloon, Hong Kong, China. In 2002, Hong Kong's Antiquities Advisory Board recognized Stone House as a Grade III historic building. It was subsequently downgraded to "No Grading" in 2010. In 17 July 2015 the government approved plans to build Public Housing Estates and Home Ownership estates on the site of Tai Hom, while also including a water park to relocate the three structures. Valley Road Estate (Chinese: 山谷道邨) was a public housing estate in Valley Road, Lo Lung Hang, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It was originally a squatter area, but was destroyed by fire in 1961. In 1962, the British Hong Kong Government constructed a total of 16 blocks (Block 1 to 12, Block 14 to 17), namely the Valley Road Government Low Cost Housing Estate (山谷道政府廉租屋邨), on the site. In 1973, the estate was renamed Valley Road Estate. It was demolished between 2001 and 2002.
West Kowloon (Chinese: 西九龍), named after West Kowloon Reclamation Project as a part of Airport Core Programme, is the western part of Kowloon Peninsula in Hong Kong, situated within the Yau Tsim Mong District and Sham Shui Po District. The reclamation spanned from mid-1990s to mid-2003, but major part was completed in 1990s. The 2019 Prince Edward station attack, also known as the 31 August Prince Edward station incident (Chinese: 831太子站事件), was an incident in which Hong Kong police indiscriminately attacked passengers while arresting protesters who were returning home via Prince Edward station, on the night of 31 August 2019, after a protest was held that same day. The event was described as the police version of the 2019 Yuen Long attack, and the police have been criticised as acting like terrorists. Rumours have been circulated that several protesters were beaten to death at the station, but the police have rejected allegations. However, for over a year on the last day of each month, pro-democracy supporters continued to leave white flowers and bowed as a sign of mourning, until they were stopped by more stringent enforcement of the national security law by police.

Lai Chi Kok Road (Chinese: 荔枝角道) is a road in western Kowloon, Hong Kong. It links Lai Chi Kok to Mong Kok, via Tai Kok Tsui, Sham Shui Po and Cheung Sha Wan. It starts from a junction with Nathan Road near Pioneer Centre in the south and ends near Mei Foo Sun Chuen. The road is bidirectional except the section at Lai Chi Kok, between the junction with Butterfly Valley Road and Mei Foo Sun Chuen, where it serves New Territories-bound traffic only. The Kwun Tong Bypass (also spelt Kwun Tong By-pass) is an elevated expressway between Lam Tin and Kowloon Bay in Kwun Tong District, Kowloon East, Hong Kong, with three lanes in each direction and a posted speed limit of 70–80 kilometres per hour (43–50 mph). It is part of Route 2 and has links to Route 5 and Route 7. It bypasses the industrial township of Kwun Tong and passes next to the boundary of the Kai Tak Airport.

鱷魚山(英語:Crocodile Hill)是位於香港九龍牛頭角以東的山丘,全山已發展為高級住宅區。往來鱷魚山的主要道路為功樂道,而接駁功樂道的康利道則可直達山頂。因為意頭關係,鱷魚山又雅稱為樂意山。

Jordan Road (Chinese: 佐敦道) is a road in Jordan, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It spans from the West Kowloon Highway in West Kowloon, through Kwun Chung and Ferry Point to Gascoigne Road and is a major east–west road in southern Kowloon.
Jordan Valley Factory Estate (Chinese: 佐敦谷工廠大廈) was a factory estate in Jordan Valley, Ngau Tau Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong, owned and managed by the Hong Kong Housing Authority. It was built in 1959. In 1983, its west wing was demolished to construct the new Ngau Tau Kok Bus Terminus. The remaining buildings were cleared in 2004 and demolished in 2005.

Ferry Street (Chinese: 渡船街) is a throughfare running north–south through Mong Kok, Yau Ma Tei, and Jordan in Hong Kong. It is a major road housing the West Kowloon Corridor above it, making it one of the busiest roads in Kowloon. Before the start of land reclamation in the 1990s, this road marked the coast of West Kowloon, and most piers were built on this road, hence the name.

The 2011 Fa Yuen street fire (Chinese: 2011年花園街排檔大火) occurred in Fa Yuen Street, Mongkok, Hong Kong on 30 November 2011 in one of the most densely populated area.
