Thekkinkadu Maidanam is a historic open ground located in the center of Thrissur city in the Kerala state of India. The St. Antony's Syro-Malabar Catholic Forane Church is located at Ollur, Thrissur city in Kerala, India. The church belongs to Syro-Malabar Catholic Archdiocese of Thrissur. According to rough figures there are around 4,000 Christian families in the parish. Swaraj Round or Thrissur Round is the local name for a circular road which is about 2 km long in the centre of the city of Thrissur in Kerala, India, surrounding the 65-acre (260,000 m²) hillock called the Thekkinkadu Maidan which seats the Vadakkumnathan Temple. Swaraj Round is the biggest Roundabout in South Asia. It is a financial, commercial and business center in Kerala. Seventeen roads connect to it. Encircling the Thekkinkadu Maidan, Swaraj Round surrounds the small hillock on which the Vadakkunnathan Temple dedicated to Shiva is built. It is the largest circular road surrounding a ground in India and the second largest roundabout in the world.

Thrissur-Ponnani Kole Wetlands (Malayalam: തൃശൂർ-പൊന്നാനി കോൾ പാടങ്ങൾ) is a wetland lying in Thrissur and Malappuram districts in Kerala, India. It gives 40 per cent of the Kerala’s rice requirement and acts as a natural drainage system for Ponnani city, Thrissur city, Thrissur District, and Malappuram district. The Kole Wetlands is one of largest, highly productive and threatened wetlands in Kerala and lie on the Central Asian Flyway of migratory birds.

It is organized as a metropolitan province of the Assyrian Church of the East, and represents traditional Christian communities of the East Syriac Rite (hence the name) along the Malabar Coast of India. It is headed by Mar Awgin Kuriakose.

കേരളത്തിലെ നൂറ്റെട്ട് ദുർഗ്ഗാക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടതാണ്, തൃശൂർ ജില്ലയിലെ ഒല്ലൂരിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന എടക്കുന്നി ദുർഗ്ഗാക്ഷേത്രം. ഇവിടത്തെ പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠ, കിഴക്കോട്ടു ദർശനം നല്കി ഇരിക്കുന്ന ദുർഗയാണ്. ആറാട്ടുപുഴപൂരത്തിലെ പങ്കാളിക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം.
